HUGE SCAM!!
I want to warn other interior designers about my experience with Houzz Pro’s billing practices. I called their support number several times and finally received a call back after I pulled my card from their system. I simply wanted to inform them I went back to school and in the future I’d consider them. That was noted and repeated to me. They thanked me for not wanting a refund after stating I hadn’t used their platform for 8 months after paying a year in advance. It turns out none of that mattered because their contract fine print requires a written cancellation notice. What got me was they called again and again after my card declined for them and I stated over and over I already cancelled. They said ohhhh, okay I see that here now. Yet the very last time I stated I wanted confirmation from them. They sent the email only after the deadline for written notices. Mind you, never stating over the phone how I needed to send my written notice. Only, oh okay I see that here. This is a company that knows exactly how it’s fine print works and willingly lets you walk past it to get the money you so hard have worked for. They are NOT Interior Designer supporters. Out for the scam and I promised them I will spread the word. I requested phone call recording to be reviewed, they refused saying a contract is a contract.
Who knows what other devious fine print they have to take our money.

Do not use this app. Cannot get past any save screens. Load screens never load. Waste of money. Please refund full price.

They are a predatory company that will take your money if you decide to cancel after your first year.
Don’t expect functionality same as on desktop
Missing AI. Can’t update automatic reminders in the app. I need desktop. Not Great if you are traveling and don’t have computer
Can’t even log in
I have trouble logging in, I’ve tried so many times, it’s getting ridiculous. Attempted to contact customer support and it says there was an error and to try again. I’m going around and around in a circle, I only downloaded this app because it had good reviews but I can’t even use it
Scam on Paid Subscription
If you end up with the paid subscription, you will be stuck paying $149 for the full 12 months even if you cancel or attempt to cancel.

Well now it seems like they have a ;lot of the program working us to pay more and more as they are jacking the prices sky high asking for extra users to use built in functions. It’s been fun time to fix
Quality + price
Heads up, the scanning is not accurate within a couple inches up to several feet. Drawings are not detailed. Ai is free if you don’t buy houzz. Better alternative: buy technical drawing software, and use ai for free because the pricing with ai is no different then using a free ai. Not worth it.
Shady Company
Make sure you get any cancellations in writing. They assured me my account was cancelled, however they kept charging my card.

Scam
This is the worst app you can hire for advertising. Don’t hire them; they don’t do a good job. When you try to cancel, they put up a thousand obstacles, they lie to you, so don’t hire them. 100% fake.
Not great for us
Beware that this auto renews and they refuse to let us out of the “contract” to cancel the subscription that we can no longer afford. Never dealt with a more difficult company
Endless spam calls
Warning!!!! Do not add information to use free trial unless you enjoy relentless spam calls from random local numbers and aggressive sales tactics. It’s been nonstop 2-4 times a day for months!!!! Oh one last thing, you can’t use free trial without a scheduled meeting with a sales rep. I don’t care how good the program might be, I will never use it for my business based on the harassment I’ve had to endure!!!!!

There’s a difference between “optional meetings” and blowing up someone’s phone multiple times a day for over a month after being told no. That’s not misunderstanding—that’s harassment.
And let’s be clear: I was told by multiple reps I couldn’t even access the free trial without a meeting. So either your team is misinformed, or this is just how you operate.
Based on the number of similar reviews, this clearly isn’t a one-off—it’s your predatory sales model.
I’m glad I didn’t pay, especially considering how many people say canceling is just as difficult as avoiding your sales calls.
You might want to rethink that approach. It’s costing you legitimate customers.

Platform looks to work well, but support is horrible, they aren’t there to help when it is needed, a 30 minute on boarding which can’t even cover two items well and then they let you on your own to figure out your way, two meetings and no one yet talked about how the take offs work

We were hit with multiple calls after signing up pushing “add ons” which should’ve been the first major red flag. After the onboard specialist missed our team meeting with 10 of our workers, we decided to cancel. We sent over the email exactly how they asked for it for cancellation. We then received an email back stating we signed a 12 month contact and could not cancel. We called and called and called. Sent email after email after email. Nothing. They kept charging us every month we finally had to cancel our credit card. From there they harassed us daily for payment. 4-5 calls and emails a day! Then they sent us to collections even after showing proof we were told we could cancel. Now collections is calling daily. This isn’t a small bill either is well over $2000. This company is nothing but a scam. Read the reviews and be safe. STAY FAR AWAY!

Don’t purchase subscription
Beware this company has a class action lawsuit against them for deceptive business practices. Overpriced, bogus leads, difficult to cancel, 12 month contracts that aren’t properly disclosed. Not worth it.
Not for start ups
This app would partner well with hearth!! It’s not an app. It’s a service that will squeeze every penny they can out of you.
Expensive bugs, and poor customer service.
I’ve been using this app for over five years, and unfortunately the experience has steadily declined with each update. Recent versions are increasingly buggy, customer support has been disappointing, and the monthly subscription cost continues to rise without a corresponding improvement in quality. I’m currently waiting for my subscription to expire so I can cancel
