Unable to run a statement of transactions for a particular period ie year, on one account only
Clunky interface
Outdated interface - requires a lot of double clicking to transfer between accounts compared to sleek “Big4” banking apps. Annoying continuous prompts for a review.
Not very functional
This is one of the worst banking apps I’ve used. It’s so hard to search for transactions using the search functionality and doesn’t have any budget tracking abilities. We enjoy banking with HSBC but the app needs some additional basic features that most people would find helpful.
Simple to use
For day to day use this app has been very straightforward to use.
Updates suck
I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO UPDATR YOUR STUPID APP JUST TO CHECK MY BANK BALANCE.
Review
Can get quick balance on app home screen. So have to login to app to see how much money available. Can do on every other banking app I have. Bizarre. Its like HSBC still living in 1997!

The app is missing running account balance in the account. Other than that all good.
Not the bank for Australians
Doesn’t have PayID, or allow multiple offset accounts without a terrible amount of trouble.
Reorder accounts
Functionality is incrementally and very slowly improving this terrible app but the inability to be able to reorder accounts is just lazy.

App works but behind the competitors
The HSBC AU app works fine but fine is not cutting it these days. The app functionality is way behind the competitors or even the HSBC UK app. Clunky and requires an immediate update to stay relevant.

App size way too big
Force us to update to the latest app but the app gets bigger and bigger and the phone is running out of storage. What is the app doing for 500mb?
