Transferring funds
I signed up for online banking after being convinced that was the way to go. However, I’ve found that when I need transfers to be made when I need them the most, there seems to be problems. Thank God I prefer cash payments.
Add a feature update
I like the app, however the company needs to add a feature that allows us to do a one time transfer to other bank accounts with different banks.

Why can’t it be sufficient in day to day banking with just the app but need the website to set up transferees, get statements, etc?

Clunky app
Totally useless Ux. needs major overhaul. You need to go onto desktop site to add new payee. I’ve used HSBC apps in other countries and know they can do better.

Great but one Request
Very Good but can you add the feature where you can see the pending card transactions which have funds held. All other banks have this feature on the apps.
The infamous ATM
I hesitate about using the ATM because at any moment it may hold onto my debit card. This means I’d have to wait for several days before I can get it back. Please update your ATMs or your cards. I am tired of waiting in line to get my card back!

Love this app and it works great!! The only suggestion would be to allow it on multiple devices as it once was but I enjoy it overall.

Not as easy to use as the UK app
Needs better features
Unable to set up new payees in the app. Transaction alerts are nonexistent. Even if you manually sign up for alerts with HSBC, it is only email or text messages and for debit cards there are no alerts for transactions less than $275. Someone could drain your account at $250 per time without any notifications. Useless!

Come up to the times!
I don’t understand why I can’t get instant notifications of my transactions in 2025. Very antiquated. Cant even transfer in the app to a new account. Fix it.
