HTX Dumpster Fire
This app used to be decent. No more. The calendar only displays in a list format instead of like an actual calendar grid like it used to. There is very limited information available about the trash collection schedule. Where is the search function? Do better.
The pick-up service is horrible, 4 wks for recycling to be collected, heavy trash: no dates posted!
This is what our exorbitant property taxes and local sales tax buys us ? CΓ΄me on, Houston, you can and should do better! Trash pick-up is a necessity not a luxury. Get it together.
Stuck on a search bar
I have always found this app to be very helpful, but for about a month itβs been stuck on a search bar when I open it and useless. I tried to report the problem using 311 but thatβs pretty much impossible.
Appreciate the updates.
I appreciate all the hard work during the and after the storms. I hope leaders are listening to your feedback.
The illegal dumping in acres homes is frustrating. Paid jobs get dumped on Easter and little your right after you filled an entire truck. Is there some type of portable cam that can be used. They know how to blur their liscence plates in the process.

User friendly but delays are vague and not updated
The app is easy to use and has all the information for curbside pickup and drop off locations. Due to budget constraints and driver shortages, the recycle pickups are usually delayed but the actual pickup date is not posted. The green cans sit on the curb sometimes up to a week. The yard waste is shown to be picked up weekly and usually shows βdelayedβ. My yard waste recycle bag sat on the curb for 4 weeks. Neighborβs yard waste plastic bags all fell apart before pickup.
