I used to have this app for years and it actually helped me heal with friend issues and other issues. I redownloaded it to realize it now costs money. I am a minor girl who wanted to share her feelings but can’t anymore because I don’t have the money. If you know what’s right, you should’ve kept talk spaces free, maybe avatars and stuff like that could’ve been plus but now I have nothing to help me.

Can’t hear people talk!
Every time I join a meeting I can’t hear anyone talk this never happens. I don’t know who else has the same problem but please fix this issue thank you!
False advertising
App first appear on my timeline as free, after reading about it I was excited to try it out only to be met by a huge pay wall. It’s not expensive but the way they present themselves as free supportive app only to be boxed in not even able to read much of anything at all without paying much less do anything has me convinced that it’s a complete scam.

It use to be good
Turned into a pay to play app, People use to come on here all the time for depression, now their money hungry. You can’t post anymore without paying for humans+ and you can’t chat without it either. It’s become a money hungry app.

from mom & pop to corporate cashgrab
i used to have this app a couple of years ago, and it genuinely helped me get over so much pain.. i redownloaded it again, and heres what i saw:
1. no access to my older account
2. you have to pay to get into the audio parts & group sessions, which is genuinely stupid as this is what the entire app is for.
3. you are required to pay for advice
so yeah. this app that once had amazing intentions and a growing community of users healing together has turned into a total cashgrab. my advice? find a new app that’s free and use it there.

FREE
This app used to be free. It helped a great deal to talk out ideas and concerns with adults (and young adults) anonymously and for FREE. I appreciated that children were not allowed. Not sure what happened but $30 a year for a microphone? Nah. I’ll wait for another app like it one to pop up. Back to my FREE spam youtube, reddit, and twitter accounts. *cracks knuckles, types away*

It was good until it became about cash.
I got through many tough moments in my life using this app, especially when I was too afraid to talk to the person I thought I could trust and needed to be heard. Now as I am coming back to it for the third time, I see now we can’t even get into the meetings without having a plus subscription. I miss it because I loved talking and hearing others talked. I felt good being there for someone without needing to know them personally. I helped myself by helping others and now without a plus subscription I am back to being miserable and feeling stuck with no where to go. If this app was truly to help anyone, it would have never been behind a paywall but people have to make their money somehow.

I originally got the app a few years back and deleted it when I started going to real therapy. I just joined back and found out you have to pay for everything. I was sitting in my room, overwhelmed with emotions and just needed an outlet and people to listen. When I went to post, I couldn’t. The original purpose of the app was taken away and it is now greedy. I just wanted my community back.

Pay or nothing
Yeah, because I wouldn’t pay to talk to other human beings it decided to only let me encounter a “internal service error“ which I took a screenshot of because I will be reporting this to the company, but yeah, don’t waste your time and definitely don’t waste your money because if you’re gonna pay money for any sort of like anonymous chat, go do it with that one with the envelope in the heart that really popular one on Instagram right now don’t come here and do it here because you can’t even get away with anything for free here which all of it should be free by the way

The bugs aren’t fixed
At least for me, I keep trying to post and it won’t let me. But still 5 stars because it has been really helpful in the past and I just want to be able to post something while being anonymous again
Unusable
There’s an error now that prevents posting. 0 posts and no ability to post yourself. Not to mention to even make posts outside of the specific window costs money- so they essentially charged people for an app that no longer functions and I don’t see them handing out refunds. This app was great at the start but the developers got greedy and ruined it.

Used to be good
I used to come onto this app all the time. Amazing people, amazing advice, people listened and shared. It was a great community. Now you have to pay just to be able to talk, listen, or get messages from other people. Still a good app, just didn’t want companies to have to much self interest over the mental health of the people using the app.

Cruel App
In 2023 this app was amazing. I met my old best friend here, and the community was active and kind. Now you can’t even join chat rooms without paying, barely anyone is online, and the app is glitchy. It feels like the developer abandoned it. There’s no real reason to download it anymore, which is really disappointing considering how great it used to be. It’s now become one of 99% of the therapy apps on the Apple app store that extort your mental health for money. It’s greedy and beyond cruel.
