About

Running Finally Clicks. Most running apps tell you what happened after your run. HzAma tells your feet what to do during it. THE INSIGHT Speed = Cadence × Stride Length. Your stride length is largely fixed. Cadence - how many steps you take per minute - is trainable. HzAma is the first running coach that starts with your goal race time and works backwards to calculate the exact cadence you need, then delivers that beat live in your ears, every run. HOW IT WORKS 1. HzAma calibrates your real stride length (a short run or height-based estimate). 2. Set your goal - a race time, or a pace you want to hit. 3. It calculates the exact cadence your goal requires, and builds a progressive training plan around it - increasing cadence by no more than 3.5 steps per minute a week, the physiologically safe limit. 4. Every session, HzAma plays that cadence as a beat - a click, a rhythm track, or a full synth mix locked to your target - so your feet find the rhythm without you having to think about it. WHY CADENCE MATTERS A 5–10% increase in cadence has been shown to reduce knee joint loading by 20–40% (Heiderscheit et al., 2011). Runners also adapt their stride to a beat automatically, without being told to - auditory-motor entrainment is a real, measurable effect. HzAma is built on the actual research, not on the idea that 180 steps per minute is a magic number for every runner. It isn't - the right cadence is yours, and HzAma calculates it individually. BUILT FOR EVERY RUNNER Whether you're chasing a 10K PB, coming back from injury, training for your first marathon, or just starting out with a Couch-to-5K plan, HzAma builds the plan around your goal and your body - not a generic template. KEEP YOUR WATCH. ADD HZAMA. HzAma isn't here to replace Strava or your GPS watch - it's the missing piece they don't provide: the beat that tells your body exactly what cadence to hit, live, while you run. COMMON QUESTIONS What is running cadence? Cadence is how many steps you take per minute while running - sometimes written as SPM (steps per minute) or, in music terms, BPM. Most recreational runners sit around 150-170 SPM; elite runners are typically 170-185+. The right number for you depends on your height, stride, and goal pace - which is exactly what HzAma works out. Is a higher cadence always better? No. HzAma doesn't chase a fixed number like 180 SPM for everyone - that's a myth. The correct cadence depends on your body and your target pace, calculated individually, then trained towards safely. Do I need a running watch? No. HzAma runs from your phone, in your ears, alongside whatever GPS watch you already use - Garmin, Apple Watch, Coros, or none at all. It doesn't replace Strava or your watch; it adds the one thing they don't do. What race distances does HzAma support? 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, or any custom distance or pace goal - each with a training plan built for that specific distance, your current fitness, and a proper taper before race day.
