What's New in I feel food

1.9.1

August 26, 2026

This update makes saving an entry feel instant, turns Connections' careful analysis into something it actually tells you, and treats a missed day or two on your streak as a stumble instead of a reset. What Connections has been noticing Connections has always run real analysis on your entries — comparing your enjoyment ratings, checking how often you're checking in comfortably, watching how your meal timing shifts — but it used to keep the result to itself, wrapping everything in the same cautious phrasing whether or not it had actually found something. Now, when a card has a real finding, it says so: how many points happier you tend to feel, how much earlier your first meal has been landing lately, or how a rough stretch shows up as a dip in your ratings. The gentle question at the end is still there — it's just no longer hiding the part that matters. Logging that doesn't make you wait Saving an entry used to mean watching a spinner while it made its way to the server. Now it's written the moment you tap save, with the upload finishing quietly in the background, so you're back to your day right away. Adding food is quicker too: items you've logged before now show up as tappable suggestions above the field, and picking photos from your gallery lets you grab several at once instead of one trip per photo. Your home calendar also reflects a new entry the instant you save it, without needing to flip away and back. A streak that doesn't punish a bad day Missing a day or two used to feel like the whole streak was in jeopardy. A short break now gets a gentler nudge to pick back up instead of a warning, and it won't repeat itself if it happens again soon after. Tapping a streak notification takes you straight to where you need to be, and reaching day 15 now shows a direct link to see what that consistency has actually done for you. Behind the scenes Photos you added to an entry could quietly disappear from a diary you shared with someone else — that's fixed, so a shared link now waits for every photo to finish uploading before it's created. Syncing also holds up better for accounts with a long logging history, pulling your full record in reliable batches instead of one large request that could stall.
