This app displays 3D Gaussian splatting in 3D on a Looking Glass connected to the USB-C port. Please note that the maximum video output from the Lightning connector is Full HD (1920x1080) and cannot be displayed on the Looking Glass even if an adapter is used. 3D Gaussian splatting is a new scanning method that can reproduce photorealistic 3D scenes, and more and more scanning apps are becoming available for iOS. This app reads an exported file (.ply .splat) from a scanning app, displays it in 3D on Looking Glass connected to a USB-C equipped iPhone/iPad, and allows viewpoint control by touching the screen of the connected iPhone/iPad. The focus point and parallax can be adjusted with the on-screen slider. Please understand that due to the memory limitation of WKWebView used in the application, large 3D Gaussian Splatting and high resolution Looking Glass may not be displayed.
