Mess only
Need 2 half days to book 3 tickets. Now 2 orders (one for 1 and one for two persons). Now already half day to connect my family- not successful. Beside try to plan the trip- not successful. The app and ticketing is only a mess for foreigners.
On computer everything works but can not do because have to use the app. The don’t respond. I only get the magical time!!!

Unusable
I truly do not understand what Disney thought when creating this. It is TERRIBLE and literally UNUSABLE for Westerners. Literally in Shanghai right now trying to add premier passes to my tickets and the app continues to crash, close, and ask for verification a million times before kicking me out. I’m TRYING to give you my money Disney and your app refuses to take it. And then I called for help only to find out that Shanghai Disney will not process payments over the phone. Truly awful

Not working AT ALL

Got fraud charges after paying for the hotel
Paid for the hotel reservation using credit card via the international card option, and got fraud charges on the same card within an hour. Horrible!!!

The worst app ever.
Everything is so slpw, each page takes so long to load, and the app keeps crashing. Can’t even buy a ticket!
Don’t Bother
The only reason to get this app is to use the map and get wait times. If you want any other functionality from this software, you will not get it. If you want to try this app anyway, you will be logged out upwards of 20 times per day (if you can log in at all). The app will actively refuse to let you pay for and use fast passes. This may work better for locals but for foreigners, don’t bother you can get by without it

Lower your expectations with this one.
Great idea but very buggy and slow. My wife can’t get hers to work at all. Contacted support but I cannot be bothered with them. Will use the app for the map and wait times only. Make sure you get your printed tickets in case the app fails.
Started just ok, now unusable
Non-China user here. I originally bought my friends and I tickets with the app, and while a bit slow and sometimes taking its time I managed to get through and make those purchases along with early entry passes. Several weeks later during the day of visiting, the app just refuses to log me in whatsoever, so I had no proof of my tickets. Staff on location had to enter my passport in their system and found them that way, but since then I was never able to get back into my account. Tried resetting, reinstalling, re-signing up for an account, etc. It constantly says "something went wrong". My phone and email don't work with it. App needs an overhaul.

Absolutely painful, worst app by miles
This is one of the, if not the worst, apps I have ever had the misfortune to need to use.
If you’re visiting Shanghai Disney Resort and especially if staying in one of their hotels, you will need to be on the app a lot. QR codes for this, that, and the other are available only on the app. Want to use your entitlement to early park entry? QR code. Buy exclusive merch? QR code. Redeem Premier Access? You get the idea.
The problem comes when you try to bring up one of those codes. If you’re lucky, you get an animated “magic is happening” icon for 15-30 seconds and then whatever you wanted comes up. If you’re unlucky, either nothing happens, you get a blank screen, there’s an error message in Mandarin, or worst of all, you get logged out.
Getting logged out is worst because logging in is utter, utter pain. The app claims to let you login with Face/Touch ID, email and password, or by getting a code texted to your phone. But none of these methods ever worked other than a code by text. And that eventually stopped working too. So getting logged in meant choosing the code by text, waiting two minutes for the text to not arrive, and asking for a phone call with a code. That does work but costs $$$ in roaming fees when out of country. I had to go through this rigamarole several times a day. I ended up afraid to open the app to look anything up in case it logged me out and I had to go through this nonsense again. It was an enormous negative on my holiday. It’s put me off ever returning and I would advise everyone against coming unless you have the patience of a saint.
Please, please, please talk to your counterparts in Japan, Paris, Anaheim, or Orlando and get them to help you make this app less terrible.

It’s not an easy app at all.
Requires a code for new user to register, but there was no code sent in until maybe5 attempts (10 mins in waiting ) , then one code was expired , been in this app for a while , still not able to get anything booked.

The worst
As a visiting foreigner the app is terrible. Tried to login several times to access my booking and can’t now get in. It’s the worst app.
Slow and buggy
Possibly one of the worst app I have ever downloaded. It it very slow and buggy at times. Took me one hour to purchase Disney premier access as it was stuck on loading and rendering. I had to close out of the app a few times. When it was not slow, the payment failed for no reason. I tried again and spent another 30 minutes on the app and finally payment was made successfully. It took me 15 minutes just to see the items I purchased under My Trip / My Order. Seriously developers, you need to do better.

Saved us time in the park
Very accurate wait times. Allowed us to catch Pirates of the Caribbean when there was no wait. Walked all three times while the rest of the park was bonkers.

Terrible app
One of the clunkiest, and least functional apps I’ve used. Constantly times out and/or displays nothing… making it impossible to even see what the app was supposed to offer in the first place.
