What happened to the pull-down month calendar?
I was loving this calendar! Why did you take away the pull down month calendar? I use that constantly to add future appointments and now the options are so bare!!!!
Lost sync with iCloud
New update does not allow any iCloud calendar events to show in Google Calendar app. Google and apple need to figure it out.
Bug needs fixing
When I have multiple calendar notifications and I choose to swipe one away, it clears all of them at the same time. Never used to do this, please FIX!!
Change was unnecessary
Change was unnecessary. I would like see the day and month view at the same time. I miss that function. I am currently looking new choice. Totally unnecessary.
Add light and dark options
Love the app well everything about it except for the fact that I have my laptop and light mode and I keep my iPhone in dark mode, but I want my Google Calendar and all the colors to match up with how having on my laptop so I want my Google Calendar app to be on light mode and it won’t let me have my Apple on light mode unless I change my entire iPhone to light mode and I don’t want my entire iPhone online mode. I want my entire iPhone on dark mode with my Google Calendar app on light mode and it won’t let me do that so fix it.

New Forced Event Duration
I have always loved google calendar and I rely on it heavily for planning my life. I am someone who doesn’t need an end time for my events because I use the calendar to keep track of medical appointments etc, where I just need the appointment start time. Since the latest update, suddenly all of my current and past historical events for years that I didn’t have an end time for, now have a forced event duration of 60 mins, showing the start and end time. I’m very very upset by this! Most of these events are either shorter or longer than an hour, and hundreds over years are now forced to have 1 hour time blocks, and I often refer to past events to see how long it’s been between appointments. I understand some people like having an event duration, but people like me who love just having a start time need to be accounted for too! You need to provide flexibility and more options to make the calendar cater for a wider population. Please please bring back the option to have no end time for events! Or if this is a glitch in the system, please fix it!

Terrible notifications
The sound is not unique (same as email). I miss so many meetings because of that. It should have a sound picker with system based options in addition to added included ones
Notifications are useless now
The most recent update changed notifications to just show the video chat link rather than the title of the event, which makes notifications completely useless. Who tested this and thought it was a good idea?
New update affects daily events
Subject/Title: Revert redundant double-date layout on single-day events.Feedback:The recent calendar application layout update forces a dedicated Date and Time line for both the event start and event end parameters. This results in the exact same date being printed twice on separate lines (e.g., displaying "Thursday, Jul 16" on two stacked rows) for a standard, single-day one-hour appointment.This change introduces complete visual redundancy, wastes screen real estate, and degrades readability. The interface should dynamically evaluate the inputs and hide the secondary date line whenever the event start and end occur on the same day. Please patch this logic or provide a setting toggle to revert to the streamlined single-row date layout.

Why do all the updates say "now on your apple watch"
Can't select custom colors, can't customize what time of the day I want to complete a task. I was able to select the new 24 colors on my computer but it shows up as the default blue on my phone. I went to check the updates to see if they added usage of the new colors, but it all just says "now on your apple watch" so that's incredibly helpful

1 week birthday alerts??
What idiot thinks that I need two birthday alerts, one a week ahead of time, from every person it finds in my contacts? Furthermore the app overrides my ability to change this, it's either no birthday display from device at all or incessant popups for people I met once. Each gmail account must have this setting changed on the web, not the phone, and then it doesn't respect it half the time, because it overrides device settings.

Can you change the date on the app so that it shows without having to open the app. Instead of just saying 31 the iphone calendar changed date each day.

Wish the day of the month showed on the app
The app works great. I love how calendar invites that come in to my Gmail also goes to my calendar once accepted. The only complaint I have is that it always shows “31” on the app. It would be nice if it showed the day of the month, like Apple calendar does. It’s helpful for quick glance to see the date.

Only blue event color
Can no longer set colors for my events. Only the default blue shows up as a single option. What on earth happened?!?!?!
Duplicate Event Bug on iPhone
Recent updates have made it impossible to duplicate an event to another calendar on iPhone. This feature used to work perfectly. The web version still works, but the iOS app no longer allows selecting a different calendar after duplicating an event. Please fix this bug
Needs better colour options
I colour code my calendar items to help with viewing at a glance. For such a long time I hoped for a wider colour range than the original options. This finally happened in a recent update, but STILL there is no decent pink! Like a hot pink that actually stands out. New colours 'beetroot' and 'cherry blossom' are hardly discernible from the original 'tomato' red. A number of the other new colour are also so similar to others that they are not helpful in visually distinguishing things. What about an aqua? What about some pale options like light blue or baby pink? Or even maybe the ability to customise our own colours? We need colours that look DIFFERENT to each other, not barely varying shades of the same.
