Updated app, now it won’t open
Updated the app because my account stopped refreshing, and now the app won’t open at all. This is a problem as this nonfunctioning app is standing between me and MY MONEY

I love this bank and how easy it is to transfer money in and out of my bank.
Difficult to bank with
I use several online banking apps and this is the worst by far. It’s difficult to navigate even the simplest of tasks. I am forced to ask customer service how to do menial transactions. I am pulling out my money as soon as I figure out how to do it. And their version of customer service is to send a message and wait a few hours for a response. Really?! I do not want to keep my money in this kind of fly by night organization any longer.

Deposits and withdrawals are very slow
I’m happy with the higher interest rate than most for a high-yield savings account, however the app isn’t as smooth as it could be and the deposits take over a week to go in. I also read that withdrawals can take up to 10 days. It’s not a big deal unless something major happens and I need the money quickly.

I cannot find a history or a current rate being paid -does it mean deposits are pending if there are shown in green
Frustrating and Unreliable
I’ve been trying to use the Idaho First Bank app, but I can’t get past the Home screen—every single time it just freezes and stalls there. Apparently I’m not the only one facing this issue:
“Won’t load … Just in the last few months it won’t load. Just to get past the login page takes about 5 mins. Then I can’t see my balance because it ends up timing out before anything will load. I’ve had the same balance for months which is very concerning.”

Nice online app for banking. Competitive interest rate for a savings account. Friendly people to talk to in person when needed
App & Website Won’t Load
I’m a fairly new customer and within the last few weeks of being a customer. I have repeatedly had trouble with logging in the app and their website no matter the device I use. When I called, they tried to act like this must be an isolated incident and when I pointed to all these reviews, saying the same to thing, they acted surprised. Here I am tonight after several hours not able to access my bank. Considering moving my money where I can access it.

This App is easy to learn and even easier to use. All accounts are on your screen for bill-pay and planning.

So far so good. I’ve only been banking with them for about six months, but it’s so easy and their rates are amazing on their money markets keep up the good work Idaho.
Unusable lately
The app was been repeatedly crashing and not working. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it, but nothing seems to be working. Very annoying.

Deposits made more difficult
New app requires you to swipe away obstructing message then tap to take photo. Old app you just composed the photo and the shutter activated when focused. Two steps backwards.

Modern, easy to navigate app
Love the organization of the upgraded app and the customizable features. The My Spending tool is great for budgeting and tracking spending habits. Overall a huge improvement from the previous app. Online banking has never been so easy!
No transaction ID displayed!
When depositing multiple checks, many of the same amount, I need the transaction identifier to match the references in my Quickbooks sales receipts. Now I’ll have to go to the bank website to get that info. Hopefully, it is there.
