These guys made this pretty quick and easy to make my payment every month( and also they sent us free light bulbs as well) which came in handy 2 weeks later
The app seems to work well
I haven’t had any issues yet. I do wish that I could sign in on the app without having to divert to a browser, but even with that inconvenience it functions well.

Reliable , great info
I like how easy Idaho Power makes it to go paperless. The My Usage feature is helpful for seeing where my power goes, and the budget pay option makes it easier to plan for bills each month.
Never works
This app never ever works. I’ve been late on my payment because this app never even loads to get me to the sign in page.

Accidentally logged out! There is no way to activate face login again! Spend 3 hours, email wrong all wrong ! How is that ?

Terrible User Experience
The UI is nice and very modern, but don’t be fooled. It’s not functional—graphs take forever to load (if they load at all). Every time I try to pay my bill using my bank account, it says “payment method declined” but if I hit “edit payment method” and then press pay with the same info, it works. These bugs are terrible enough to make the whole app basically useless—if I can’t reliably view my usage each month and pay my bill, what more can a power company app offer? Please fix these bugs.

Very helpful, despite usage UI bug
Overall, this is a very helpful app. However, there is one persistent UI bug in the usage daily view. For those with on-site generation, the power generated relative to used bar chart is way off.
No idea what the bars are relative to, but it looks very wrong when 20 used kWh shows as the same height as 60 kWh generated.
What’s weird is on one day, the bar graph shows different relative values day to day even when the kWh used/generated are very close or the same.

Wow.
A power company made a good app. That one wasn’t expected, but here we are. And it’s not even just a bog standard payment portal, this thing is a fully-featured app.
Check out your billing, see your estimated bill for next month, see outage reports and info, and check your usage to incredibly detailed levels.
On top of all of this, the UI is very pleasant and easy to use.

Crashes a lot
The app itself is fairly easy to use. I’d say it’s a normal user interface so 3/5 for that.
That said the app crashes at start up 70% of the time. On any device we have on any network.
It’s a good start. Just need to work out the bugs.
That said it has lots of neat features and you can break down and track your power usage.
Remember when rating… A 5 star review is more than you could ever imagine, a piece of art and technology perfectly weaved into one.
Society used 5 star reviews for just normal service. That’s not the idea of 5 stars. Not every player in the game deserves a participation trophy.

Simple Intuitive Easy
Nice job on the app. Gave me everything I wanted to see, and easy to find. As it evolves might be nice to see what kind of power usage idaho power is providing in percentages. Ie. Hydro, solar, other. I can see adding ways to save on heat and cooling but it’s really the same things… insulation, airtight house, efficient appliances, etc Thanks to ID power and developers for working together and building a very nice app.

It’s a start,,,
Since there are so few reviews I’m guessing this is a fairly new app for Idaho power. Might be handy for a quick check on your bills but doesn’t do much in terms of helping a user to discover ways to save energy. Heating, cooling, and hot water heating is where most of our money is spent each month and I’m looking for ways to monitor that so as to improve and understand my usage and how it relates to my actual bill. I hope future upgrades to this app includes something other than just simply kilowatt hours.

Finally useful info
I have solar and I love being able to track usage day by day. I would like to be able to have it sooner than 3 days out as it currently is now, but other than that this is a vast improvement on usable feedback.
