Review
App works fine but some times had me questioning if the person who made it even spoke English
Gets stuck at fire extinguishing level
Even if you sweep from side to side on the base of fire it waits until the timer runs out and makes you do it again and you’re stuck in a loop
Amazing app
This app has a super fun way to learn and uses stories to make you feel like you’re in the story which helps you learn better and faster and keeps keywords inside your head. It is kid friendly and goes very fast. This app was the only reason I was able to pass the test and I am very grateful to it
Absolute garbage
I wish I could get a refund for this
Good Class for Boater Card
Fun and easy class to get your boater card lessons done. Go at your own pace. It’s gameified and story based so great for teens but also keeps the info interesting for everyone. 10/10 would recommend
App won’t load
Pay for the course and can’t even get the app to open on my phone.
Extortion, but worth it, I guess.
Trash app, trash reason for it to exist. At least you can just click through the low quality attempt at a “story” and just get it over with as soon as possible.
Fire extinguisher
If you’ve gotten to the fire extinguisher part on ios and you’re having trouble just tap across the base of the fire and it works.
Absolute waste of money and time
I paid over $50 for this and spent 3 hours doing it then I get to the final exam and I can’t do anything nothing works it says you can’t do it on a mobile device so I get my lap top and login and it wants me to start fresh.
The bad reviews are very true this program is a joke. I’m extremely disappointed, not a good look at all for the state either!!!!

Better but not Perfect
Though this course was extremely helpful and beneficial to learning how to safely operate PWC and boats, I did have a few problems I was hoping to address.
Starting with the benefits of using this app, I enjoyed several different aspects. The ability to be able to complete the course on your phone instead of laptop and the ability to complete the course offline was very important for me. Second, I appreciated the interactive storyline and fun activities. Such as the mini quizzes and determining what to do when approaching another boat, a buoy, or overtaking another vehicle, along with the mystery and characters. The mystery of Kalkomoke Island was very good indeed, except for the fact that I had to redo all of the dialogue for almost 30 minutes because I guessed the wrong person at the end of the mystery. In addition, I got stuck doing the fire activity and it took me numerous tries over about a half hour to complete what should’ve taken less than 1 minute.
Also, there should’ve been activities regarding the knots and anchors to demonstrate how they worked. Seeing a diagram of how to tie a knot is much more difficult to understand than walking us through the process in an activity.
That being said, though a few improvements need to be made, I very much enjoyed completing this course. It was so much better the just doing a regular program. I hope you make more of these mysteries with certain things like a sailing program. Please consider this. Thanks!

Burn in hell
Garbage
Bait and switch
I was taking a boating course online. They said I could pay to speed it up and now I’m getting redirected to this garbage condescending gamified app for tweens. It’s basically just a scam. I can’t even get back to the web site to just do the boating course.
Can’t log in
This app is terrible. It deserves a zero
???
What is this stupid story about flying monsters have to do with anything. I regret choosing this course for my safety cert
Unachievable simulations
If you can’t pass their simulation of putting a fire out, because their technology does not work you waist all your time and are stuck of a fire extinguisher simulation.
This app was the biggest waist of time

Amazing!
I am 15, I got my license in about 4 hours. The test is a decent difficulty, but not too hard. I recommend go to the website, sign up and buy the course, then download the app! Thank you guys for helping me!!!
Good learning app
Would recommend to beginners
I can’t even log in
I paid for the course online thinking I would take it online. It forces you to download this app and I can’t even log in. I tried to use the boat ed login info and nothing. Pretty sure I just got scammed out of $75. This needs to be fixed asap
No issues, liked the learning style
Not sure why so many bad reviews. I had no issues with the app. I enjoyed the learning style with a “story”, following the friends and learning along with visuals and dialogue. Definitely a little hokey, but I’ll never forget the “circle of death”. I feel that the story made it easier for me to retain terms and information, rather than just reading a lot of information.
