Worst app ever built for banking

Freezes most of the time. Login takes 15seconds

This app is so bad that it got locked for past 48 hours and Bank has got toll free number which doesn’t work from UK.

Called branch and they are unhelpful too.

Worst bank and banking system!!

In 2010 when I opened Indian bank account, their banking system was one of the fastest and easiest system in my experience.

It slowly degraded and now become bad to worse and I absolutely hate their IT system. I cannot imagine how unintuitive they could make?

I have a NRO account and I am seriously considering moving to other bank when I come to India next time. Even in third party system if I select Indian bank under net banking it won’t work most of the time.

They literally have nothing called customer support or care. Basically they just don’t care about their customers. If you’re reading this I would advise you switching to other banks.

All encompassing app

A great mobile bank app that provides comprehensive capabilities. Impressed by the security features, especially the keypad that dynamically change to enter login and also transaction PIN. I use US bank apps, and I can vouch this stands on par or exceeds in terms of capabilities. Improving app response time and focusing more on customer experience components would make this number ONE mobile banking app

Nice App

It is a nice app. But, it takes time when network issues occurred at server end. Takes bit of a time to know how to use.

Very very poor app

Very very annoying app. Whatever is non-mandatory is very mandatory for this app. Notification, location, etc., needs to be enabled always. Why do you need this?Even while adding external accounts, they want to add the nickname. Very very annoying and poor design decisions. I was struggling to add external accounts. Very very poor UI|UX design.

SIM not found

On a live phone, this app couldn’t find a SIM card. So how does one activate this app. Lol. Ridiculous.

Works perfectly fine

I am a NRI customer, this app is working as expected. It is having strong security features same like other private Banks ( Axis, HDFC etc). I could able to link this account with UPI payment apps. There is opportunity to improve to make better customer experience. Ex: It is always showing keep me login/logout when I switch apps to grab required information.

Everything works

Everything works fine but plenty of opportunities for improvements. The moment you switch to other apps, (say WhatsApp to get a beneficiary account num) and when come back you have to click “keep me logged in”. Thats annoying and should be showing when the app is on the screen but ideal for some time, definitely not switching between apps to get something that’s needed to carry out the purpose of the visit.

MMD / FD deposit

Cannot deposit money in any MMD or FD. I always receive an OTP == Deposit amount. So weird making mobile deposit useless. Even though OTP succeeds it lands up in a “Generic Timeout” and fails

Frustrating app cannot set PIN for debit card

App has a facility to set a PIN but just doesn’t work. System seems overly complicated and centered around generating an OTP which is hit and miss with overseas numbers.

Very poor service

Totally wasted my two weeks trip to India to reactivate my account that has been closed due to inactivity during corona. Worst bank.

Worst app experience

Sometimes I am unable login to this app , it keep showing connectivity issues. When doing net bank transfer /listing beneficiaries/ or loading account takes lot of time and getting timed out I am an NRI using this app from USA(device :iphone13). Seems i had a wrong choice of bank to open NRI account. OTP not coming to my USA number. Fund transfer impossible from this app!

Unable to login

Am first time user to use Indian bank mobile banking. After download the app , unable to activate with CIF or with mobile number option. Always says authenticate error , try sometime later. Getting frustrated

Makes life SO easy

Terrible app and bank

Not sure which idiot designed this app but it never launches registration flow. On load of the app some stupid background process runs after few seconds and is supposed to take you to a screen where you enter CIF or mobile number, that screen never shows up in android device. The only time that screen shows up is when you uninstall and reinstall the app. At that point it shows up once and it then shows “timeout” message after you put in mobile number. And if you now try to relaunch the app this screen to enter CIF or mobile number never comes up. Stupid app by stupid bank.
