Unfair to Employees
I find Instacart is not fair to the employees. The bonus systems are not good if you do so many shops you get X amount of dollars well of course you’re going to get that much money in the amount of shops You’re putting it down. That amount should be given to the shopper regardless if it’s a bonus. That to me is ridiculous cause you never get that bonus! There is also one for an extra three dollars for shops between six and nine for people to get out before nine to shop is hard. Why don’t they have that throughout the day, again, not fair, but only to Instacart in the person, ordering the food benefits from that!

I feel like app is very clunky and could be more streamlined.

I’ve done approximately 3,400 orders since I started. I love “playing this game”, looking at each order as a speed treasure hunt since we get paid for each order we complete rather than by the hour. The design of your software is fantastic, ensuring that I am getting the correct items for each customer. I also love the freedom of being able to choose each order, deciding where and when I want to work. Fits in perfectly with my principal jobs as a transit bus driver and limo driver (2 separate companies), doing Instacart orders between shifts/runs. I tell everyone I meet how much fun I’m having. I’m sure I’ll continue “playing the game” far into the future.

Constant Scams
This app is not a DoorDash or Uber Eats so do not compare it, it’s less organized and not really anyone you can reach out to when there’s issues. The promotions are not actually meant to add on top of your batches like DoorDash or Uber Eats. For instance if there is a deal saying 16 orders for $90 you won’t actually receive $90 you’ll receive whatever you make let’s say $70 and they say here’s that $20 it’s not promoted this way either. It’s a 1 star cause this app is scamming

Low low pay and dead unless Gold
If your new you get first time priority after that.. good luck getting anything over $6 driving over 20 miles.. People rarely tip, crazy logic (example. 65 items for 7 dollars NO TIP), and it’s dead unless it’s Sunday… then you make “some” kind of money. I did this for spare cash this is NOT good for long term.

Money maker
Boy I been gettin that money with Instacart. Stop for a while get a job or just chill an do it on the weekends…it don’t matter it gives me leisure to move how I want. I’m rocking with it that’s a fact!
Terrible in NYC!
The app crashes and sends you batches 15+ miles from your current recommended location. I am in Staten Island and keep getting batches to go over a $20 toll bridge for batches over 15 miles away. No tech support available, only articles that are not helpful.
Can’t change my address in app
I DON’T know where else to turn, I have spoke to about 5 live agents trying to get my home address changed and not one person can help me! I moved and the app keeps giving me an error message and it won’t allow me to change it, will become
