Don’t use instCart
Horrible app, gps most of them time given you the wrong area to drive to in town house they given you wrong area to get to. Called support they said im sorry and that it even though you wasted more than 10 min walking around the wrong area. Sometime reached to the customer destination but the app show they are at the opposite side comparing to the location. Alot of time being brought up to them all we got is im sorry lovely

Not worth the hassle
I’m new to Instacart and from my experience it not worth the hassle 45 minutes to checkout because of an expired Costco card had to call support. It’s not worth what little money they pay to deal with this. Unhappy shopper here.

Support is useless. I’ve been on the waitlist for 2 years! They don’t care about you. Don’t waist your time here.
No point in listening to what instacart says
Every single time I’ve ever gone and waited at the grocery stores for orders, I don’t receive anything.
Edit: went home and got two orders right away. Both boosted. Clearly the instacart algorithm doesn’t work. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT

Verification issues
For the past month I have been having issues logging in to start working for the day because the verification doesn’t work. It lags, glitches, doesn’t take the photo automatically. It is a terrible bug that needs to get fixed as soon as possible.
Wait forever for no pay out
You will wait daily. They allow people that rig the system for maximum orders to remain. They shovel in so many new drivers it’s never anything you can consistently count on as weekly income. It’s designed to keep their corporation rich off wearing out drivers left and right. I suggest applying to drive for another company.

Pay & Verification Photo
Instacart is a great App in regards to being able to make additional income. However, they do not pay a legitimate rate based off of your time, Gas, using your own vehicle, spending time shopping and delivering and accommodating the needs of customers. They need to improve their pay method and not rely on customers to give tips. Also, the facial verification that you periodically have to use your phone to verify your face, often gets stuck on my phone and is difficult to fix. This is a glitch with their app and they need to fix it permanently.

Terrible pay
Maybe it’s just my area that I’m in but I waited awhile to get things set up for Instacart and I got in 2 weeks ago and I still have yet to take my first order. I’m getting these “batches” for 40+ items 20 miles away for 10 bucks? It’s going to take me an hour to do that, so $10/hour? This is some kind of joke, who is taking these batches? DoorDash has way better pay for pro shopping orders, honestly I’m pretty insulted to even consider this 🔥 batches. The way gas prices are and getting little to no compensation for doing this is CRAZY.
If someone has tips on how to get better batches i am willing to hear it out but holy cow these batches are absolutely horrendous for the amount of items and miles they want you to drive for this terrible pay the hourly pay doesn’t make sense.

Good when it works, shopping efficiency is broken
Everything was good until 9/11. Then I noticed my shopping efficiency scores were way off, and they say they use that metric to determine who will see orders when all other factors are equal.
I had a quick order and from the time I started shopping, found all three items and was ready to check out in about 56 seconds.
They marked me down as 260 seconds per item instead of my 56 seconds total.
I screenshot all of my orders when I started shopping and finish so I'll know. Now these inflated times are lowering my efficiency score and affecting my ability to get good orders.
They really need to fix this.

Not much work
Love the app….but, batches are scarce.
Would be good if the support wasn’t so bad
I spent over 3 hours shopping a massive order just to have the app glitch and the QR pay code only pay a penny. Then when I called the support to ask them to load the physical card the “tier 2” support lied and said it wasn’t possible. I know it was a lie because I coincidentally was there when the next shopper on the order ran into the same glitch and they loaded her card. I lost a $289 tip and made only $20 for 3-4 hours of work just because the support wanted to look better by ending the call faster or something. It’s not worth doing a big order no matter how good the offer looks because if anything goes wrong with the app you will be stuck wasting the loss
