Not worth to work
4.5 hours, 50 packages, 50 stops, and 250 km of driving for only $120. After fuel, vehicle maintenance, mileage, and the value of your own time, the pay is simply not worth it. You also need to consider the tax impact—at tax time, you may still owe money to the CRA. Overall, the costs and responsibility are too high for the income. Not worth the work

Cheapest App on the market
Watching 4K video consumes less battery than this application; somehow, a trillion-dollar company made an application so bad that even a startup cannot compete with this slop.
The QR reader (camera) doesn't turn off when you are routing to your destination. If you use this application with a Bluetooth headset, the noise is so loud it can damage your eardrum and it overrides your volume setting so you can't tone it down. It looks so bad that a college group project can make a better-looking application.

Automated Rollouts via AI, Declining Reliability
There is a noticeable shift at Amazon toward automated AI development. Unfortunately, this rush to ship new capabilities seems to be happening at the cost of regression bugs and declining reliability in basic user tools.
For flex drivers, there is a noticeable bug where we are unable to scan in tote bags forcing us to scan packages one by one.
Ultimately, this severely impacts delivery precision. Finding my route has become an uphill battle, causing delays and increasing the risk of missing time-sensitive packages.
Additionally, scanning packages individually marks them as 'out of bag,' making them much harder to organize. When scanning the tote bag correctly, it normally provides helpful bag numbers and colors that make finding packages along the route effortless.
Calling flex app support is of no help or resolution to the problems stated above
My track record for Flex delivery is 100% flawless, and maintaining that standard over the last two months has been an absolute nightmare.
I am writing this review not just as a top-tier driver, but also from the perspective of a software engineer who has successfully published apps to the Apple App Store. I know what functional regression and poor software architecture look like, and shipping unstable AI-driven updates at the expense of core logistics tools is unacceptable.

A lot better
The previous update was poor, but it’s been reverted, and kept the reattempts display. The app is perfect now in my opinion
Many problems with the app
When I scan the QR codes on the totes containing all of my packages when I’m going on duty, it says “There was a technical error.” I’m getting really tired of having to scan 30-50 packages by hand. The package scanner is extremely slow, doesn’t have a queue, doesn’t show a checkmark for previously scanned packages. Is there like one guy vibe coding this app? It’s so bad… I expect much more from a huge company!
I’m a hub partner, if that makes a difference. Sometimes I can scan the totes when I go on duty and it’s great. But I’ve been getting a technical error a lot recently. It wastes a lot of time scanning all of the packages one by one. The other problem is that when I scan the packages one by one, it doesn’t tell me what tote the package is in when I reach the destination. So I have to search through 2-4 totes, which makes each delivery take much more time… Please fix this issue!
