What's New in IntervalCoach

2026.8.2

August 11, 2026

New: choose day, week or month averaging for the wellness charts in Analytics. New: rename or delete a completed activity right from its detail view. Analytics: the time period and day/week/month averaging controls now sit together at the top of the screen and drive every chart, including the fitness trend. Switching the period picks a sensible averaging automatically, and your manual choice sticks until the next switch. Swedish and Norwegian are here. Japanese and Korean can now be picked in Settings too: they were already translated, but the list never offered them. Workouts built around training zones now show their real shape in the chart instead of one flat bar. When a request fails, you now see what actually went wrong instead of a generic error code. Fixed: if you use miles, your critical speed and your weekly training distance now show in miles. The pace was labelled per mile while still showing the per-kilometre number, so the dashboard could suggest you run a 4:27 mile, and the gap to your target was out by the same amount. The distance on a training plan week was always shown in kilometres. Fixed: parts of the app that were still appearing in English now follow the language you have chosen. Pool swims from your Apple Watch now arrive with distance and pace. Heart rate always came through, but the distance stayed behind, so swims showed no pace, every interval landed in Z1, and the load was estimated from heart rate alone. Swims, plus treadmill runs and indoor rides without GPS, now carry their recorded distance. Apple Watch app with complications: see your readiness, today's workout, health metrics and training score at a glance, and rate your workout right from your wrist. Turn on auto-scheduling in Settings to have your planned workouts appear in the Watch's Workouts app automatically. Also: workout charts now draw descending ramps and heart-rate zone steps at the right height.

User reviews

Extremely well thought out

Finally a well executed adaptive app that truly feels “worth it”. The interface is clean and well thought out and simply talking to the AI coach can restructure your calendar. Using intervals.icu as the hub, these changes update my Garmin computers automatically.
