CONSUMER BEWARE!!
CONSUMER BEWARE!!! I paid for a two-year subscription during a promo for ipVanish in April of 2025. In March of this year (2026), while adding one of the TVs in my house to my account, I noticed what the renewal price for one year was going to be (a LOT!) so I decided I was not going to continue service with them after my two-year subscription ended. At that time, I still had a bit over one year left, so while I wasn't in a hurry, I began looking for how to remove my payment information from their site so I didn't forget and end up being charged an exorbitant amount later. The platform is *not* user friendly, and no matter where I looked, I could not find where to change or remove my payment information. I contacted support, who did respond timely and provided instructions for canceling my membership - which they said would not happen until my current paid term was up (April, 2027). Great! Life was life'ing and it wasn't until about 3 months later that I finally got back around to logging back in and following their instructions, which I did to the tee. It brought me to the cancellation screen, however, their system would not let me save the changes, continuing to pop up an error message telling me that I could not cancel, and to "contact support." Ok, frustrating. I responded to the same email chain I had with "CJ," who I had gone back and forth with multiple times by this point. I emailed him screenshots of what was happening, asking for help. I started having issues accessing my account at this point and was eventually logged out, unable to access my account at all, even through resetting my password. My service on both my TVs also stopped working. I again contacted support telling them what was going on, with screenshots, at which point they asked me to verify my personal information to ensure the account was mine, which I did. They also asked for my credit card information. RED FLAG! I told them "no, I have provided all of my personal contact information used to sign up and I am emailing you from the email address that I have on file with you. I'm not giving you my credit card number." They still demanded my credit card info and refused to do anything until and unless I provided it. The whole point of all of this was to remove my payment information from their website - at which point they figured out that I did not wish to continue on with their service after my paid membership time would end (many months down the road) and suddenly my account no longer works and they are refusing to help? If it walks like a scam, and talks like a scam, it's a SCAM to me! I now have been jipped out of nearly half the membership term I paid for, and may have to cancel my credit card before April, as I do not trust them. Negative, frustrating experience. Once you sign up and they have your card on file, they make it impossible for you to cancel. And from reading the reviews of many others (go to Trust Pilot to read), I'm finding they regularly pull this. And then they give the same song and dance response to the reviewer that "oh no, that sounds so frustrating, that's not what we want! Contact ua so we can fix it." Don't fall for it! It's all a front to try to fix their tarnished image. I have filed a complaint with BBB and I am signing up for a new VPN service elsewhere. CONSUMER BEWARE!

TOOK MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH I CANCELLED AHEAD OF TIME
I downloaded this app to see if it would do what i needed, first told me i needed a subscription to use the app but they had either a 3 day free trial or a week and i selected the free trial and the app ended up not being what i needed so i cancelled the free trial and deleted the app. a few days later i get a app notification that this app billed me anyways and i requested a refund but only gave me some of my money back so im currently in the process of getting my money back from them but did not appreciate being charged when i literally made sure to cancel out the free trial before their monthly subscription would come out! - UPDATE, make it known what people are getting into before clicking confirm to sign up for your subscriptions then, almost every other app would give a refund for this inconvenience especially if they want it resolved the day of.

Bad protection and false advertising
First of all, the protection is very poor. My secure VPN connection was dropped multiple times, without any sort of notification. When I asked for a refund, they refused to honor their 30-day money back guarantee, which was clearly advertised on their website for the monthly subscription.
DO NOT PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTION!!
After paying and subscribing, my account was never updated and it kept showing that I needed to subscribe even after getting charged and it showed in my Apple profile that I had the subscription active. After deleting and downloading it again multiple times and nothing was changing I gave up.
