Didn’t pay me

I did a shop that I was actually called to see if I would do it most likely because I was in the same city it was my first shop I did it got a email saying payment was submitted then it was reviewed and I was suppose to get paid but that part never came and now they won’t respond they responded fast when I was trying to submit the audio but now that I’m asking about my payment I am getting no response . Did the shop on Sunday like asked it is now Wednesday and no payment.

Won’t allow you to create profile

The app won’t allow me to change the year for date of birth while creating a profile. Stuck on first page

Scam

Never got paid

Took my money

I didn’t claim my money in time thinking it’d be fine until I’m able to set up my PayPal account and they took my money back. I didn’t get paid.

Couldn’t even sign up

Couldn’t even sign up b/c the Year won’t change. Tried it like 5 times.

Great shop company

If you’re a secret shopper, then this is a great site, support team will take a call anytime. Fun shops and fast pay. Probably one of the best shopper sites on-line

Actually Legit

I have been using the app for about 3 years now and this is the only legitimate app that I have found! There are a lot of different companies with many different types of assignments. I have done many different assignments from virtual tours of colleges, simple phone surveys, restaurant secret shops to price audits and have been paid on time every time. I have been working with BareInternational for 2 years doing price audits and they are great! Im paid on time and the pay is pretty good!! I recommend this app and bareinternational 100%

Occasional glitch

Unfortunately, I was unable to return to the home page when I needed and was in the field with all bars of cellular data. This could cause serious problems if trying to get make a deadline. Also, there's no ability to crop and rotate photos.
Updating needed. It's the 21at century!

Do not download

Do not download this app these people will not pay you they will waste your time and have you do extra things and don’t want to play instructions are not clear and they will reject your work for nothing

They will look for ways to not pay you

I put a lot of time and effort into my review. The company declined due to one of the photos of the product not being up to standards. I think the company that pays will use whatever information is gathered and then look for anything that might give them the chance to decline payment. I would not waste your time.

Waste of time

I created an account, but it wont send a verification email. It will send me a reset password email, but without the verification email I can’t even look at potential jobs.

Navigation issue

The latest version has a bug. Once you chose Web and Phone Apps, the back arrow does not work, please fix it.

Only wants positive reviews

I completed the shop giving honest feedback and my payment was denied . Because I didn’t give a perfect review they refused to pay me for the shop. They are only looking for positive reviews and will only pay for positive feedback.

Amazing Company Be a Part Of!

So thankful to be a part of iSecretShop! Everyone is so helpful and turnaround times for pay are great! Proud to be one of your shoppers!

Extremely Finicky

This app does work only when it wants to. Denied me for a shop I submitted, and when I called support they didn’t help at all. A waste of $20 dollars, really disappointed with this app because I kinda like it but it can be very unreliable. I would give 0 starts if I could.

Understand what this is.

ISS is a platform that posts “secret shop” gigs for other companies that hire us to do them. It glitches just like every other app, but here’s what you really need to know: The companies post the gigs on this platform and are responsible for the assignment instructions, deadlines, and terms of payment (which are 30-60 day turnaround from your submission date) are the ones you need to be careful about. ISS doesn’t pay you, the posting companies do, so ISS can’t help us if we have a problem with the job poster. ISS can’t help us with the gig or the accountability of the company responsible for providing the gig. ISS states they work closely with the MSPA but does not “vet” the companies that post the gigs, nor do they check to be sure they’ve been cleared with the MSPA. There are companies that post gigs here that have been rejected by the MSPA that outright will not pay you, will plan assignments to use you to get info they need to get paid by their clients (and profit more by not paying you), or simply manufacture an excuse not pay you for your work even when you do everything perfectly according to the instructions. ISS will not help you if this happens, and all of the gig providers insist on an “arbitration clause” favoring themselves, so you’re out of luck there too. So, research on the company providing the gig BEFORE you give them your personal info, SSN and payment info, sign a contract, or agree to do any work. Make sure they’ve been vetted and admitted as a member of the MSPA. Check to see if there’s really a legitimate business license or incorporation, a working phone and email that contacts a real person/scheduler instead of a generic inbox or a “bot” (both of which are “red flags”). Check the public record and reviews written by other secret shoppers and clients that have hired the gig posters (and read the gig-poster response) for complaints, and to see how many times they’ve “rebranded” to hide bad acts by checking social media, scammer alert sites, and the Better Business bureau (including any former company brands). I got burned and later read some client reviews that stated they’d also been scammed by the same company, only to discover the company had “rebranded” in the meantime, so they couldn’t even sue…or worse, discovered that their SSN had been used to steal thier identity, which is a horrible experience that can ruin you for years. Once you’ve done that, start with 1 or 2 no-risk assignments to see how THEY perform, and if they pay what’s promised on time before proceeding further. You’ve got to watch your own back, because no one else will, especially in the “gig” world, because you sign away your rights and shoulder all the expenses, safety risks, and vehicle wear and tear in order to work.
I’m posting this so you can learn from my mistakes. I’m well educated with skills that fit this very well and own my own business. This is a business as well. I assumed the companies that posted here were legit based on the positive references. I did a couple of “no/low cost” gigs for a company that still posts here and it worked, so I accepted additional gigs that required more time and skill for the promise of higher fees that cost me over $200 in travel and expenses plus over 40 hours of my time visiting sites, interviewing, writing up 60 question reports, plus narratives… only to get scammed.
I could have made more than those jobs promised doing a handful of Instacart gigs and been paid in 48 hours.

Legit, but….

This is a legit company that will pay you eventually. I did a secret shop at a local grocery store. The shop took me about an hour and 15 minutes. I was compensated with $20 as a refund for purchase and $15 as payment. The company took over 2 months to pay me. I also had to go back in after I submitted the shop and answer more questions bast on a negative answer. But I had to email with their support to reopen the shop. Very frustrating. Overall I spent 2 hours ‘working.’ Although this company is legit, I don’t recommend it.
