Drains your battery

Useful app but drains your battery in the background. I have a new phone and the battery typically lasts 2 days. I was surprised to find my phone out of battery at the end of our transatlantic flight despite not using it much. When I charged it later and turned it back on, I saw that Istanbul Airport app used 40% battery in background! Luckily we were able to call an Uber with my husband’s phone. A travel app draining your battery during the travel is a deal breaker!

battery usage

The Istanbul Airport app is using an excessive amount of battery in the background—around 20% of my daily battery usage—even when I’m not actively using it. It appears to be running continuously for some reason. Please investigate and optimize the app’s background activity. This level of battery drain is unacceptable.
