Always freezing
I love the idea of this app, but in use it’s so slow (it kept freezing and I’d have to force quit). I couldn’t use the audio guide or pick what I wanted to listen to- it would never load. It was good to have the map and then I would Google the landmarks to find the route. Just switching between info panels on the main menu took a very long time.

This app is so painfully slow it took me 10 mins to add my city card. I pressed each button and waited a few seconds while typing. I don’t know how I’m going to use the app. I cannot take screenshots…it’s designed to not screenshot all the info!!

Die App hat sehr hilfreiche Funktionen, z. B. das die Zielort per klick auf GoogleMaps deine Routen anzeigt. Auch die Tipps und Infos sind gut und hilfreich.
Almost great
A veritable treasure trove of information. Covers museums, architecture, events, walks, and more. You won’t be at a loss for things to do in Vienna with this app. Does not waste space with lodging and dining info. However, if you swipe through the Highlights section, you will be offered the opportunity to complete a survey, for which you will be rewarded with a “Viennese design classic” and a drawing for one of 5 cube clocks. But when you enter the survey, the prizes change to one of 3 watches. And after you complete the survey you find out that the drawing was December, 2024. Somebody isn’t keeping this app up-do-date!

Mit City Card und ansprechenden Hinweisen, kann man entspannt und ausgiebig informiert Wien entdecken.
Irgendwie unvollständig
Der Eintrag „Gib uns Feedback“ in der App führt zu „Formular nicht vorhanden“ bei Microsoft. Ist diese triviale Funktion etwa kein regelmäßiger Regressionstestfall?
Ich würde gern mein Hotel als Ausgangspunkt meiner Touren hinterlegen – Hotels kennt die App aber nicht, als ob das für Touristen die Ausnahme wäre.
Ich habe die App und mein Handy, um mich zu identifizieren. Dann brauche ich aus meiner Sicht keinen Login.
Schließlich brauche ich eine zusätzliche App für das U-Bahn-Netz.
Angesichts dieser Unzulänglichkeiten überlege ich, ob ich dieser App meine Vienna City Card anvertrauen kann.

Very useful - tres utile
J’ai aimé les visites guidées dans la ville dans les pas de Beethoven, Strauss ou Mozart. Il y a d’autres thèmes sur l’histoire de Vienne où les jardins, et des bons plans pour les spectacles. Il y une petite vidéo sur chaque lieu pour aller à l’essentiel. Elle communique avec Google Maps ou Plan pour ne jamais se perdre en route

Cannot link City Card
Downloaded the app which has lots of information but the main reason was to link my City Card for travel in a couple of weeks time. The app asks to be updated but it cannot be updated. So really the app is only a guide!

Vienna City Card geht nicht
Die App funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Möchte man die gekauften City Cards hinzufügen wird jedes Mal ein Update der App verlangt. Jedoch ist die aktuellste Version installiert.
Tatsächlich musste man zu Fuß zum Service Point und die App Tickets gegen Papier Tickets umtauschen.

Nicht existentes Update
Leider funktioniert die Wien-Karte aktuell mit keinem Apple Produkt. Man muss umständlich zum Info-Center, um sich dort eine Karte ausdrucken zu lassen. Schade
Funktioniert nicht
Mit einem iPhone kannst du Pech haben und die Fahrkarten nicht laden. Du landest in einer Endlosschleife mit der Aufforderung, update laden, was man aber nicht kann. Ich hatte dringend von dieser App ab.
Problem mit Vienna City Card nach Update
Seit dem letzten Update habe ich keinen Zugriff mehr auf meine Vienna City Card. Die App fordert mich ständig auf, das Update zu installieren, obwohl es bereits durchgeführt wurde. Nun kann ich die Karte nicht nutzen.

I can’t use my bought City Card because the app tells me it is not up to date, however on the App Store there is no update available.
How far is a one hour walk?
Can you tell me in km how far a “one hour walk” is on your app? I don’t find that a useful measure, thanks!
