Amazing app
I have been using IVSEC for over 4 years in 3 seperate sites, much faster than the other big names, loads instantly and easy to set up
Very good software.
Better than most other camera systems I have dealt with. Love it.
Terrible connectivity in app
First off I’ll mention I am a registered security and cctv installer with 11 years experience in most of the main brands out there.
I am trying IVSEC as a budget option for clients who don’t want to over invest in cctv.
The camera system is not bad but the App repeatedly drops offline.
You spend more time looking at a system that is offline than your actual cameras.
Tried contacting IVSEC support in regards to an ai question but everyone was busy.
Was promised a call back and never heard anything again.
Not a great start to a new brand that I am willing to invest time and money into…
Also.
App rarely rotates when phone is on its side.
This app really needs a fullscreen button to force full screen viewing when needed.

Ivsec cameras
The app is annoying , I always have to uninstall it on my iPad for it to work and now both my phone and iPad don’t work, please fix this issue, I got rid of my wifi cameras so I wouldn’t have any issues with connectivity and this is worse,I went to tech help and that was useless as well, nothing is working on any of our devices and we can’t fix it

Great app
Great Aussie company and tech and app.
Average
The cameras and app layout itself are great. However connectivity is terrible. Constantly disconnects / goes offline on the app requiring app restart repeatedly especially when away from home. Often can’t see what’s going on at all.
Alarms
Alarm trigger selection not clearly defined and defaults to motion detect constantly. Individual camera selection once set defaults back to all cameras. Needs more work on the app.
Update to edge browser
Firmware updated online and now works perfectly in Edge.
Camera and App
I love the product and app. The 5mp/8mp is super clear and the ability to have a colour images at night is a great feature. I love the app as it is always very responsive and never have had an issue viewing footage.
Difficult to get images on the phone
Only connects some of the time even when we’re at home? Works fine to the computer
Can’t remotely see cameras have to be connected to WiFi
Use to be good but since 2020 haven’t been able to view on app unless connected to the Wi-Fi to the same as the cameras so no point.
App Review
I’ve had other apps which are slow and takes forever to load. This app is awesome as the response time to view any footage is pretty quick. Love it so far!

Complicated to use, the playback system could be improved with easier ways of knowing which colour relates to what motion maybe being labeled in the playback ?
NVR
Should really have a little port lights on the back of the NVR where you plug in your cat6 cable in for the cameras, just like you do on a Internet router.

Absolute garbage
Had my cameras installed 3 years ago. Now have no app access as my DVT no longer compatible.
Problem sorted
Support guys for this app are amazing. Resolved my issue in 5 minutes. 👏👏
