About
Anxiety may take the precious time of life, this app is aimed to regain it back.
An app based on ACT therapy that implies that your thoughts inluding negative ones need space - this way they'll feel less intense, you may analyze them more rationally, cope and act if needed. Some people have these kind of Jars made really in physical space at home, but in an app you have a way of tracking the history a little easier. If you ever thought to try - maybe now is the good moment to do it here.
Jars app has 2 visual solutions for you
1) Park your anxieties into a vessel - add sticky notes with what worries you to end rumination. Challenge anxious thoughts with reflection questions, think of good outcomes, plan real steps to solve them if possible, if not - some things are just to be released with acceptance, but not avoided. Placed somewhere just not occupying the rest of your mental space.
2) Track joys in the same app cause you can't worry and be joyful at the same time. By visualizing joys as flowers, you get reminded that joys also coexist same as worries now and you are prompted to notice small things more, thus helping your anxiety feel easier.
Reflect later during dedicated Worry Time. See if the worry has faded and note it, how the outcome was, with time notice that many thoughts were just...thoughts, not facts. And remind yourself of joys that also happened at the time.
Some worries actually may need yuor real action - but youll be able to plan it only if you feel calmer, worry time is safe moment to do that rather than in the middle of a stressful day. Plan an action, do it, notice that you can actually cope with things.
Living with anxiety is not easy but it's just part of life, don't let it control the rest.
