With today's technology there's no excuse why the JCP website or the JCP app doesn't keep a record of in store purchases.
And there's also no reason why JCP cannot look up a customers in store purchase by using their credit card number. Other stores do it!! Losing a receipt is my fault but not being able to look up the purchase on my JCP account is ridiculous!

I have been shopping here for grandchildren, children, spouse and myself for a very long time. Love their stores and on line for most of my shopping needs.
Shipping to store versus shipping to home
I’m a long time JCPenney shopper. I make sure to catch up on any sales, rewards clearance items and so forth.
I like having the opportunity to pick up my newly purchased items from the store.
If the Tacoma mall JCPenney does not have what I am ordering the item then has to be shipped to me at my expense. Now I’m finding out that even when my JCPenney store has the item I need I still have to pay for shipping if my purchase is under $25. The shipping is less but I still have to get in my car and go to the store, pay the extra five bucks for shipping and then take my discounted, clearance, couponed item home. The older I get I’m finding it tiring and expensive. I became a little frustrated over this Labor Day sale. I couldn’t find anything to fill in the gap so I could get free shipping to store, so I just canceled my order. It was a beautiful sweater.

Muy molesto siempre he pagado antes de la fecha. Pero como hizo saldo total de $2500. Me bajaron mi línea de crédito a $250.00 .
CAN’T cancel an order unless it’s under a half hour of placing it!!!
