App and Trainer both awesome
I think the app and the trainer both get a bad rap. Mine have both worked flawlessly for some time. Out of the box the trainer had some connectivity issues with Wi-Fi, but a firmware updated fixed those for me and its been smooth sailing. Really happy with JetBlack.
Völlig unbrauchbar
Es gibt nur 2 Modi, „ERG“ und „Resistance“. Man kann aber keine Workouts erstellen. Was noch ärgerlicher ist: die App stürzt ständig ab und die Aufzeichnung wird beendet -Ursache nicht feststellbar.
Unterm Strich ist die App also total unbrauchbar.
Ich verwende ein Iphone 11, IOS 26.2.1. .
Ich will kein Zwift o.ä. abonnieren, dazu nutze ich den Volt zu unregelmäßig. Aber eigentlich bleibt mir gar nichts anderes übrig. Bin total enttäuscht.

Can’t connect
This app never seems to come off searching for any signal. My phone connects to other things and I have two trainers here that both connect to a laptop quickly and easily, but when disconnecting from the laptop and trying to connect to the app, they just keep blinking blue, saying they’re searching for a connection too. Same with heart rate or other power meters. It’s the app that’s off.

Very poor support
Does not support any of their older trainers. I purchased a cadence and speed sensor brand new and one month later they bought out this app which had no support for my sensor. Was told by Jet Black that they had no plans to support older products. The sensor was and is still commercially available. Obvious strategy to encourage people to purchase their new trainer. Will never buy another Jet Black product.

Doesn’t work
I received a notice that I needed a firmware update but the app won’t let me log in. Tried to set up a new password and still didn’t le me login. Deleted the app, reinstalled, still gives me a notice that login failed. Basically the app is useless.
