About

Jetting for Gas Gas works out the carburetor settings your two-stroke needs for the conditions you are actually riding in. Enter the temperature, altitude, humidity and atmospheric pressure, pick your bike and your oil mix, and the app gives you the main jet, the pilot jet, the needle and its clip position, and the air screw setting. It also shows the air density and the density altitude. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM The recommendation is built from the carburetor tables and the factory reference settings that Gas Gas publishes in its own owner's manuals and parts catalogues, fitted against air density. It is a starting point, not a substitute for reading your spark plug. BIKES COVERED (208 model-years, 2002 to 2026) EC 125, 200, 250, 300 · MC 50, 65, 85, 125, 250 · SM 125, 250 · TXT 125, 200, 250, 280, 300 · Pampera 125, 250, 280 Only two-strokes with a carburetor. Fuel-injected models (EC 250/300 from 2021, MC 125/250 from 2024) are not included, because there is nothing to jet. WEATHER WITHOUT A WEATHER STATION The app can pull temperature, pressure and humidity from the weather station nearest to you, and your altitude from the GPS. No extra hardware, no manual readings. You can also type everything in by hand. IMPERIAL OR METRIC Celsius or Fahrenheit, metres or feet, mb, hPa, mmHg or inHg, kg/m3, lb/ft3 or lb/gal. Pick what you are used to. MIX CALCULATOR How much oil goes into the fuel you are about to mix, or what ratio you ended up with from what you already poured. Litres or gallons, millilitres or ounces, percentage and 1:n side by side, and one button that drops the ratio straight into the jetting calculation. RIDE LOGBOOK Save what the app recommended with one tap, then note what you actually fitted and how it went — lean, good or rich, rated separately for the low, mid and high circuits. Over a season the logbook tells you whether your bike runs above or below the book. Export to CSV, or move it to another phone. FINE TUNING If your engine likes it a bit richer or a bit leaner than the book, shift the whole recommendation by up to 10 per cent and the app will remember it. The values shown are a base reference. Always check the spark plug and adjust to your engine, your fuel and your riding.

What's New in Jetting for Gas Gas 2T

1.1

August 24, 2026

RIDE LOGBOOK A new tab. From Results, the + button saves what the app recommended; back in the logbook you note what you actually fitted and how it went — lean, good or rich, rated separately for the low, mid and high circuits. When what you fitted differs it shows as 178 → 180, so at a glance you see whether your bike runs above or below the book. Export to CSV or share a copy to another phone; importing merges and never deletes. GPS IS NOW PART OF CONDITIONS The GPS tab is gone. Querying the nearest weather station lives on the Conditions screen, which is where the readings were going anyway, and it now shows which station answered, how far away and how long ago it measured. MIX CALCULATOR Converts between fuel, oil and ratio, with fuel and oil on independent units, and drops the ratio straight into the jetting calculation. NEW ICON The bike on the icon goes from dark to white over the brand red. Also: the in-app help has been rewritten screen by screen, and the weather service no longer truncates long station names.
