Joist used to be free. App has gone down hill with pop ups and increased subscription fees.
Basic
I’ve used this for basic invoices less than 10 times a year. The basic free package was great. Them they took away images, reduced the basic option to almost nothing, and now charge for everything. Looking for another solution.
Block data without a subscription
Don’t use these people they expect you to have a subscription to get your data once you stop using their service. It’s in other words for stealing business information from you. It use to be free
Blocks VPN’s
Joist is joining the rest of the tech world by blocking access when using a VPN. Thanks. This is why everyone hates the entire tech industry.

They will try to run your business for you!
Omg this is by far the most annoying app I have ever used! The app itself is fine, but the company won’t leave you alone! Constant messages and emails with ideas and suggestions on how to use the app and get more business! Yes, that’s right! Joust thinks they know more about your business than you!!! Worst part is you can’t stop it!!! Looking for an alternative to this service.

Great tool.
Joist is a great app. It helps me with my estimates and payments. I recommend Joist to any Contractor. Great tool to have.
They Keep removing features and increasing the price
They keep removing basic and deported features while increasing the price so they want you to upgrade all the time with the higher monthly rate for basic features you had on your plan.
It’s a good app if you pay top dollars for the higher plan tier, but there are many apps over there that will do the same for much cheaper so I wouldn’t start with this one if I knew that they will keep doing it every year

Elite upgrade
Slowly but surely, every good feature I’ve been using as a pro subscriber, becomes an Elite subscription service. I’m moving to a different platform.
Wish it had a dashboard like wave accounting
I use this app over wave because it allows me to add photos and Wave does not however, wave accounting provides the user with a dashboard that allows them to see what will become payable in the next 15 days, the next 30 days, and so on. This feature would be extremely useful for contractors, trying to manage a business, the ability to have a quick at a glance look receivables would be much better.

Customer service
The app is mostly easy no navigate. However, there is no one to talk to on ver the phone making it difficult to request or get help via chat.
Good app but I’m going to move to another
I give it a 5 star for being functional user friendly and the payment options for client are all there . I give it negative stars for cutting out app functions like reports which I had already upgraded to pro (cost more) to keep now they take them away and say upgrade again to elite to see them , which of course cost more which I’m tapped out for this so see ya I’m moving on to better cheaper app

I been using joist for a month and it’s great. Easy to make invoices, easy for customers to sign, make payments. I enjoy using this app! Cheap too!!
