No drivers available
The restaurant told me they had no delivery drivers available and to come get my food myself. So I had to leave my house to get the dinner after I paid for delivery. An hour an a half later an uber driver showed up at my house with cold food yelling about how she had to pick up the food. I do not understand Joyous app and why they would send me a text saying to pick up my food and then when I call the restaurant they confirm they have no delivery drivers available and and then an hour and a half later an uber driver shows up??? This is awful delivery app, don’t use it.

“Token has expired” error when trying to Sign in with Apple
This isn’t really a review, because I can’t get the app to work. It’s a bug report, as I can’t find any other way to submit one. When I try to create a passcode account on either iOS or iPadOS 26.2, I get the above error. I assume I could create a password account, but that’s not what I want to do.
Nothing in range for delivery
Every restaurant says out of range for delivery even ones only 7 miles away. Every other delivery app does like 15-20.
Card info stole
After using this app my card info was stolen. I had a bad feeling when using it so I used my Cash card which allows me to limit the money on the account as well as lock the card. I keep getting notifications of failed purchases. I’m unsure if it’s this app or the company I purchased food from but either way there is a security flaw.

Poor service
The discount I get from the app did not reflect on the price when I check out. I emailed the customer service and never heard back. Disappointed!

Great idea
So disappointed because my order did not meet the minimum for delivery. I’m by myself and I don’t need $35 with of food. I don’t have a car anymore so I can’t pick up.
But it’s a great idea to have a local restaurant delivery service for people who are ordering for a group so no reason not to use Joyous if you’re in that situation.

Seasoned user giving a thumbs up!!
Very convenient and also receive lot of great promotions. The prices are not marked up in-line other apps and they are exactly how you would find on the restaurant menu. The app also keeps getting regular updates with new and cool features added. Been a great experience for me.

Local, Indy restaurants, not chains
I like that they don’t work with the big chain restaurants, only local restaurants that are part of the community.

Daily spin
I loved the daily spin concept. Getting good discounts every day. Very much better prices compared to Uber eats.
BEWARE of fraud!
We had a good first experience and decided to try again. I received a notification that my order had been delivered (It hadn’t). Almost immediately I received a separate text asking me to contact DoorDash for delivery (Do they contract with DoorDash?). Then I received a text from the restaurant recommending that I come in to pick up my food. I was never contacted again by anyone from Joyous, and they kept the delivery driver tip. I’ve tried to contact them through app and social media and have received no response. I was excited to try a local business, and I’m disappointed that they stole my money and have completely ignored my requests for assistance.

Smooth experience
Used this app for the first time today and it was easy to download, sign in with my Apple credentials and start my order. The menu was easy to navigate and pickup was smooth. Very happy to get a discount and love the lack of inflated prices and additional fees. Only wish more of my fav restaurants were available.

A hidden gem amongst food delivery apps
Absolutely amazing app. The fees are by far the most reasonable. And I went to a restaurant in person AND THE PRICES WERE THE SAME. So no double dipping. The fees are very reasonable in comparison with others on the market. The selection isn’t the greatest but it has plenty of Indian and sushi. With time hopefully they can expand but if I want Indian or sushi delivered it’s not even close. I choose Jouyous

We are very happy to share our experience here for joyous app and their services. It is the best food delivery app I ever know . Ever since I returned back from India , I was in a homesick mode and never felt like cooking , going to a restaurant or anything else . I am a mom of two . That day When we ordered from joyous app , we almost thought we are too late to order one . But the delivery guy showed up in no time with yummy , tasty , freshly made food in his hand .

Asks for enabling notifications at every step of every order
Please don’t keep asking for enabling notifications at every step of every order. At least give an option like ‘don’t remind again’.
I chose to disable notifications consciously.
It is not pleasant to ignore that pop up at every step of an order.

I’m using this app for more than year. One of the best app I have ever used. They are providing delivery & takeout from the best local restaurants in Portland. They provide best customer support. This app is amazing and I often get discounts through this app from most of the restaurants. Now they are providing lunch box and waiting to use it.

Wonderful app to save time
I used the app today for the first time using its dine-in feature. It was very easy to search for the menu items within the dine-in menu and quickly check them out as well. Checkout and payment as well was very quick and far less effort needed. No need for wait for waiter to show up to place the order and need to wait for final check and payment.

Must enable location services to use this app. It will search an area but won’t let you see the restaurant menu let alone order without your privacy settings left opened.
