Booking on KAYAK seems easy at first, but good luck trying to find your record locator. The app literally doesn’t share it with you. It shares it with you briefly at the very end of the purchase, but the app so sensitive if you barely touch it. It jumps to a previous page and then there’s no going back no getting your record locator number

Kayak showed a listing for a king bedroom on Long Island for a Holiday Inn through a third-party seller. Provided a picture as well. The room was not as Kayak represented, and Traveluro did not reserve the same size/class of room with the hotel. Only because of the courtesy of the manager did we get an acceptable room (not the one we reserved). Do better Kayak/Traveluro.

Kayak can’t filter basic fares
App is pointless if it is always showing basic fare tickets. Why did Kayak remove the option to filter out Basic fares? Is this some sort of deal with the airlines to deceive people into thinking flights are cheaper than they are?

They’ve took 36 dollars out my account. No one is answering the phone. How am I supposed to speak with someone when there’s an issue. It told me free cancellation but still put a hold on my money. Terrible service!

Be careful with the car hire here on KAYAK because they don’t check who they recommend
Car Rental company WAS flex to go in Poland,it was sold to me via another through gotrentalcars, and I found them through KAYAK website, I was queueing for one hour at the airport to get the car they informed me that I will be charged for cleaning on the Return and also if they held my 1000€ deposit for 2 weeks

I’m new to using this app but there’s 1 thing that I wish I could find on an app is I travel roughly every other month, 2 seats from Gatwick to Alicante return and stay for anything between 14-21 nights and each passenger needs to take 1 piece of hand luggage and 1 suitcase around 20kg and I’m totally flexible with those details and for me the most important factor is the cost and I wished that I could find an app where I just needed to put those details in somewhere and then for it to then tell me the cheapest flights that would meet my requirements and especially with AI now it must be something that could easily be done.
