False alert
This app continuously show an alert for low tire pressure when there is absolutely nothing’s wrong with the tires. I called customer service to resolve the issue and they had no idea how to clear the alert. They just told me to drive the vehicle and the false alert would clear itself. That is not the case. The alert persists. I cannot trust this app to provide reliable vehicle information rendering it essentially useless.

Don’t ever leave your key
Don’t ever leave your key in the car by mistake I locked my car with the app and wanted to get back in but because of the schedule maintenance I couldn’t even unlock my car the app was down

Great but…
Whenever the Kia Access app is used to remote start climate (cool, warm or custom) the temperature unit changes from F° to C° in the vehicle.
Love the car hate the app
There is not one thing in this app that works well. It’s hard to set up, hard to use remote features, and impossible to trip plan or find charging stations that will actually accept charge pass. I’ve had it take me to stations not in the network and misquoting prices.
And once your trial is over it costs $200 a year to remotely lock your car. It’s impossible to find info online about it either.

Not working recently on Iphone
Recently the app stopped loading on my iPhone. I had to install it on my android in order to keep using it. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app but no luck. Occasionally it does load and works fine but most of the time it doesn’t. It’s frustrating since it’s a subscription based service.

Door Lock and unlock status is not up to date many times even after loading app from background(reset works). Basic information like scheduled charging start and end time is deep buried.

It’s 2026. Your app should be highly available when one segment is down for updates another segment should kick in.
Mostly been stable lately but they had some noticeable bugs and calling Kia support is about as useful as pray to the Sun God. When the subscription expires there is exactly zero chance id pay for the service.

Sometimes it wants to work sometimes it doesn’t so then it makes it not reliable
Terrible experience and support
This app is not good. Digital key stoped working randomly and customer service says not my problem we can tow it. Feature only work half the time DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE.

I can’t seem to be able to remote start my vehicle before I get there. I have tried a few times and nothing.

Latest app update removed all the radio presets on my 2022 EV6.
Message appeared saying updating configuration on the head unit and then all channels were gone. Not an OTA update. I don’t have that feature. Any help Kia support?

Barely Functional
This app is such a pain. Every time there’s an update it clears all the notification settings and my phone is flooded with: your doors are unlocked, your car is charging, your car is 75% charged. Leave me alone!
I turn off the warnings again and again and again. This app is expensive and super annoying. I expect better!
