The app is complicated to use, has delay, and generally doesn’t work well. They need to improve their tech to match Tesla.

We can’t get any of the Kia connect features to work. The app is glitching and doesn’t let you do anything. The whole connect software is garbage.

Really tired of car alarm going off because sunlight on the back seat sets off the rear occupancy alarm. Really stupid and annoying feature.
When purchased the update
When I purchased the care I could turn on heated seats and adjust my air or heat but not I can’t since the app updated. I had it when I purchased the car so it should have stayed.
Clunky and inconsistent
The app layout is not intuitive. The features are not explained well. The charging schedule doesn’t work a lot of the time, even when it’s turned on. This is very annoying.
Ripoff annual cost for basic features
Ripoff annual cost. Only useful thing you can do for free is check charge level and adjust charge max. Have to sign in every time you open the app even with such limited features.
Not alway responding to touch.
Slow to respond to touch and changing vehicle status after a command.
Awful app
It continually says I need to verify my email and phone. But it doesn’t send any codes to my email. Yes, I have checked my junk folder. The app is useless. I agree with others that this app should not be a paid app to use all of the limited features. It’s ridiculous on so many levels.

This app sucks, if you leave your keys trusting the app it’s gonna work and open the car, that’s not gonna happen, this app really sucks

More features
Would like to see more features like open trunk and not frunk. Remote lock when walking away with phone. Vent car windows interior temperature etc. Closer to what Tesla has.

Best car
My favorite car I’ve ever owned. I’m a senior, and im counting on theirs one to last! It’s a plug-in hybrid, the third one I’ve owned. Deep red. Great sound system. Fantastic gas mileage. Smooth handling and minimal road noise. Only thing it doesn’t have is a front parking assist and camera (but the rear camera is fine). Love it!

Apple Watch App
It never works. You will always have to open the app on your phone to reconnect to the app on the watch. The watch app is only good for notifications. I would honestly put no stars if I could. The app on the phone is great besides having to sign in all the time.

Can be really slow to respond at times. Especially in a crowded parking lot.
Monthly fee
Was given this service for one year free when I leased vehicle. Following year, wife was given this feature for entire length of lease. Whether this is a dealership deal, or direction from Kia, it's bad practice. Pay crazy amounts for cars these days, only to be nickel and dimed.
