Hi bdbeisi, Location Search does work. If you didn't turn on location services to let KindiCare user your current location automatically, KindiCare has a unique feature that most search apps don't have where by you can save an unlimited number of addresses on the App and pick the one you want to use as your default address. Simply click on the address at the top of the Home Screen of the App, add a new address and set it as default. Alternatively you can choose to turn on location services in your Apple device settings for the App to allow KindiCare to use your current location. Hi Amanda, thanks for letting us know. KindiCare doesn't use email at all for enquiries, you can apply or message centres directly from the KindiCare App. Not all centres respond to enquiries via the App; which you can usually see in most cases as the only contact option will be the centre or service's phone number. If you'd be able to provide some additional information by emailing us at feedback@kindicare.com, we will investigate what happened.

Hi Jojolizb. Thanks for your feedback. The KindiCare Algorithm that determines the KindiCare Rating uses over 400,000 data points including current and previous government ratings, the age of those ratings, reviews from Google and KindiCare and the age and star rating of those reviews - as well as some other information known about the centre. Every centre is re-rated every 24 hours based on all know data points we hold on that centre or service. Most parents find it helpful to simplify their search journey by making it easy to compare centres.

Misleading
This means Kindy’s that are not doing well but have more reviews will be made out to be better then a kindy that’s actually is good and exceeding. This app either should be shut down or they start rating on actual kindy ratings then stupid unreliable Google reviews

The KindiCare Rating provided to early learning services in Australia is not just based on Google Reviews. The KindiCare Rating actually uses over 300,000 data points including an early learning service's current and previous ratings under the National Quality Framework from the Australia Children's Education & Care Quality Authority. Community feedback and reviews from families using early learning services are an incredibly important component of which services families consider, and therefore from part of how the KindiCare Rating is calculated for each service. The decision on which early learning service is right for a family is not a simple one, and it is a journey. KindiCare aims to provide as much information for families about early learning services to help them narrow down their search options to the ones that match their family's needs, values and education objectives for their children.
