Ok but Needs work
Child just started at daycare that uses this app. Could be a lot better considering how much Kindyhub must get paid by daycares.

- sleep/nap/feed times for workers to input
- notifications for all comms sent by daycare

Crashes all the time
Whenever i get a app notification, i click on it and app crashes. I have open the app again and look thru all sections to find the update.

Missing key features
Like others have mentioned, this app is good for reading daily reports & seeing photos of baby at daycare, but in my opinion is missing two very important features:
1. Notifications - currently there are no notifications from the app when there are new messages to read or photos to view. This means you need to constantly keep refreshing the app to see if there’s any communications, updates or action required from you.
2. Time Stamps - no time stamps are sent with messages. So when getting messages like “your baby has just gone down for a nap” or “has just woken up” you have no idea when that actually was unless you keep checking the app manually every 15 mins or so.
These two improvements would make a huge difference to the app experience in a very practical way for most parents, I would imagine. Please consider making them, thanks!

Buggy at best
Super buggy. If I try to open from a notification, it closes and signs me out. When the educators upload something, it doesn’t even turn up in my app, I only get it via email. Needs a complete overhaul.
Needs a huge upgrade
Super outdated. Doesn’t notify when anything happens, can’t upload family stories as it gets stuck in a glitch.
Couldn’t get an update of my kids at child care
My kids just move to another class. And now my account couldn’t get any update from my kids.
I had been try sign out and sign in. Restart, uninstalled app and reinstalled but still same issues.

Wish my centre used Storypark
Moving daycares, and going from Storypark to kindy hub is really disappointing.
Don’t even get notified when class photos are posted even though on a reverie from a year ago I can see you have said it’s coming soon.
Major improvements are needed on this app, maybe have a look at Storypark because unfortunately they are doing it a lot better

Doesnt work.. lousy design
This app doesnt work properly.. and no way the centre can do anything.. it is also not user friendly.
Much room for improvement
Not intuitive, no good UX, but working as expected. Needs account settings.

Needs work : too many bugs
Love the purpose of this app but the app has too many bugs. I struggle to read announcements as it just exits the app when trying to load. I can’t upload family stories as it also crashes. Really easy to fix and it will be 5 stars from me
White screen
Awful cant download entire messages. Often goes to a completely white screen, redownload the app still does it. So frustrating.
Glitchy
Whenever I tap a message notification the app opens and then crashes. I then launch the app again and manually go to the messages, and every time the message is long and I need to tap “Read full message” the whole screen goes blank, no message, buttons or menus, which forces me to force close the app as it becomes unusable and I never actually get to read the messages.
This app seems more like a project from someone studying to become a developer than a professionally developed app.

Communication needs improving
As an app used primarily for communicating it’s disappointing that the app doesn’t have notifications when you get a new message or time stamps on communications. This means messages like “your son needs to be picked up in a hour” mean nothing because I don’t know when it was sent and I don’t get notification when it comes in. If these could be added the app would be much more useful

Photos
Please update a version that allows photo download to iPhone. Daycare uploads photos and it won’t allow saving to camera roll. Also, notifications via the app would be really useful.
Bugs still not fixed
A year after reviews about family story not working and they still haven’t fixed the bugs. It freezes during the upload so it’s very frustrating. And no notifications is annoying too, I miss stuff
