The verification email was not sent during signup and the resend button doesn’t work. Couldn’t sign up and use the key.

I’m a member of my CF and I only go to open gym due to my schedule. We can use Kisi to let us inside. Kisi is very glitchy and not reliable. I have been notified by the app countless times now to contact my Coach due to it logging me out (I didn’t do it) from the app. It worked like wonders at first now it’s just so annoying. My CF had no control over this app. This app needs an update

Laggy and broken Shortcuts integration
Simple app, but laggy when using your home with their scanners and shortcuts integration is totally broken.

Kisi wants to protect. Like the system leans toward security.
But the malfunction of the hardware and software. Literally everyday something is wrong with Kisi.

Glitchy
Sometimes the app keeps you from being able to exit the establishment because it can’t register the location of your phone close enough to the outside lock. When entering, your phone needs to be held tight up against the device on the door for it to grant you access. Additionally, every single time I use it to unlock the door it triggers my apple wallet, as if I’m trying to pay for something. I don’t know why it does this and I really don’t trust this glitch, it feels fishy.

Like a key fob… but worse!
This app works 9/10 times, which might not seem bad until you realize that means you can’t open a door you need to use ~10% of the time. Meanwhile every key fob I’ve ever used has worked 100% of the time
I’m sure it’s not all Kisi’s fault. Bluetooth is so finicky as a technology no matter the device or software trying to use it. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s a terrible idea to use it as the only way to access your building

There’s no reason Kisi MUST always have access to my location.
And yet it would not allow me to login and get into my building without setting to Always.
When I changed it after to While Using, it indicates “Some REQUIRED permissions are missing”. Not true at all.
I’m a big boy. Tell me what it affects and let me choose.

This system is so bad that I took time out of my day to come write a review about just how bad it is. As other reviewers have stated most of the time it pulls up your Apple Pay and will not access the system about 75% of the time the system doesn’t recognize your login and you have to open the app and about 75% of the time that you open the app it won’t open the door for you anyway. You will then have to call your concierge to let you in if I had the ability to fire everyone on my board that voted for this, I would gladly do it. You’re better off with a physical key then you are trying to get this system to work consistently.
