Advertising an âeasy-to-use check-in serviceâ and a âdigital boarding passâ, but you are not even able to add the boarding pass to Apple Wallet. Seriously, itâs 2025, this must work.
Apart from that, there several design glitches, and lots of improvement possibilities for the UI/UX and the general handling.
The app is like the airline - it somehow works, but donât expect much.

Worst airline app
This is by far the worst airline app i have ever seen. How can one trust they run airplanes properly if they canât run a simple app to manage a checkin your booking?
Useless
The app is as useless as the whole check-in process.
As a hint, get the Lufthansa app and add your flight by the booking code. Then you can get the ticket number(s) you need for the check-in at air Malta webpage. But hey, it is not possible to add your boarding passes to the wallet on your phone. So the only advantage of online check-in is to get your seats.
And for the check-in you donât need this completely useless app

Worse than Ryanair
Iâve never had problem travelling with Ryanair or other low-cost airlines when it comes to my backpack. KM is the first airline who attempted to make me pay for a small backpack. To be avoided.
Quite easy to use
It looks clean from a design perspective and it quite user friendly.
The Worst
I canât find my booking, bc the App wonât let me put in Numbers just letters. Then when I managed to find my trip anyways I only got boarding cards for my connecting flight and not for the first one.

Canât even check in online because my airport is not listed?? Also itâs not possible to go back once I entered my flight details - I get an error message and have to restart the app

When first opened it asked me to add a flight but it couldnât find my flight. If I tap on the Menu icon I find Manage Booking. Click that and I can now add my booking easily. The Manage My Booking page doesnât fit on my screen, left and right edges are cut off. The times shown for my flight are local to me (California) but should be the times at the departure/arrival airports (LGW/MLA). The âModifyâ section says I have no seats selected, but I do. The âAdd to calendarâ link did work. Havenât tried checking in yet, hope it works!
Update: When we got to the baggage drop, they said they werenât accepting any on-phone or home-printed boarding passes. We had to get them from the regular check-in desks. So on-line check-in was a waste of time

Simply awful
Canât update contact details, canât change seating options, errors all the time. No uk phone number for support. Definitely the worst airline app I have ever used.
Very poor app
You canât add your details and you canât check in using the app - even if you eventually add your details and save them theyâve gone next time you hit the landing page. Whatâs the point sending emails telling you to to check in online then have the app say you have to do it at the airport. EasyJet app is miles better than this one.

Pourquoi faire une application si on ne peut pas passer les boarding pass au scanner. Ils sont trop petits et on ne peut pas les agrandir. ObligĂ© de faire une copie dâecran et de zoomer.

Verbot
Diese App sollte Vorboten werden da man nicht mit der Bordkarte in der App am Flughafen nicht einchecken kann weil sie zu klein ist. Dadurch kann sie vom Scanner nicht gelesen werden
