Map Restrict does not work, Kogan LX14 Robovac
The Map restriction capability does nothing, the unit still proceeds to enter no go zones, and the thing maps anything it sees thru glass, You can’t really edit the map manually, and all the rooms are called unnamed and you cant rename them. You really wonder who designs and programs this stuff, certainly there is a lack of testing, a lack of messages to indicate what’s going on, and a lack of generally best practice user interface design.

Cannot edit scenes or automations
App used to work great. Then around
Feb 2026 (release of V7.1.2) I lost the ability to edit scenes or automations (nothing but a spinning loading wheel). I have tried: clearing cache, logging out/in, deleting/reinstalling app, trying a different device. I rely heavily on the ability to edit, so losing it makes this app nearly useless.
UPDATE: July 2026. Fixed, I can edit scenes again.

Confusing
Ok, im so over battling with this app. 1 star . I click for the robovac to start and nothing happens, this was already a problem, but now there is a stupid beep sound in the app while it still does nothing Another particular gripe is , as the thing maps anything it sees thru glass, the restricted area edits i added later to for instance block my garden from the map. do not do anything. you hit save, wait and then the map goes back to how it looked with no indication of the restricted area. You can’t really edit the map manually, and all the rooms are called unnamed and you cant rename them. You really wonder who designs and programs this stuff, certainly there is a lack of testing, a lack of messages to indicate what’s going on, and a lack of generally best practice user interface design.

Cant edit a scene
Trying to edit a scene, but the edit screen is blank with a continuous loading animation. It’s been 4 months, still not fixed!

It works great until it doesn’t
I have been using this app for over 4 years and it was working great. But its been couple of month, i can no longer edit the scene created. Tried adding and removing device, scene, clearing cache, everything possible but still cannot edit the scene. It shows loading icon and stuck there. Contacting app support is no use, keeps asking the same question. Never buying any smart device from Kogan. Kogan is not a reliable company anymore.

I want to go back and modify the scene for the Fan, but that function of editing scenes doesn’t work anymore. It used to be fine.

Trying to edit a “tap to run” shortcut, but the edit screen is blank with a continuous loading animation. Is this a software or server issue?
Schedule does not work
App is good but once your create a schedule it does not allow you to edit it or remove it. You can only turn the schedule off and have to create a new one. Will find another app for blinds automation
Unable to Edit Scenes
Quite troublesome needing to delete scenes to make changes. Please add more testing prior to updating app.
Can’t edit scenes
Blank white screen when trying to edit a scene. Workaround is to delete the scene and create a new one which is annoying.

Would be great if the vac map was easier to use, had options to re do the rooms as once it’s done it won’t let me edit anything now, and every single use I have to change the settings because every single day they reset - still does this daily so will be getting a different one next that doesn’t use Kogan because I’m sick of it vac just the corners as every day the settings reset!!!

Usually great, but now app notifications don’t work
Usually a great app, but notifications have randomly stopped working for no reason - like if the doorbell is rung. They’re also not working for another friend of mine too. So unsure if this is an outage or?

Lack of support
App does not work for iOS 18 & iOS 26 basically making my LX16 vacuum cleaner a brick. Don’t recommend.
Works ok on mobile, won’t open on Mac
