Constant SSL issues
I love my Kokoon sleep headphones. Unfortunately they only play sound all night long through the Kokoon app and even more unfortunately the app has major issues and is always going down. I’ll be unable to access the app for weeks rendering the headphones useless.

Errors, Frustrations, and No Love
The app gets no love at all. Current error I get when trying to log in complains about SSL. What? This is just web API 101 stuff, why wouldn’t SSL work? I got tired of fiddling with the app’s issues.
App just stopped working.
SSL error or something every time I try to log in. Without a functioning app, the headphones time out and turn off pretty quickly.
Can’t log in
I wonder what type of data do they think they have that needs to kick out the user??? For god’s sake fix your app so I can login! Whether you want to reset password or create a new account it gives an SSL error and then when I log in I get a white screen…
Was OK. Now Non-Functional
App is broken. Forced email login throws SSL error. Developer site is dead, no support. Can’t access anything. That said, the headphones are great and still work fine with other meditation apps that support Bluetooth. Apple should pull this.
App is atrocious
The headphones themselves are okay but the Kokoon app is absolutely dire. It literally doesn’t work most of the time in that it doesn’t allow you to sign in and actually use the app - instead giving an SSL error and keeping you locked out of any functionality.
“An SSL error”
This is the second time in a month where I can’t log on to my app for days on end due to an SSL error meaning I can’t get a secure connection to the server. Tried logging a ticket but the website is also down for that. Utterly shambolic, save your money, don’t get scammed and don’t get the app.

App is down again
They fixed for a couple of weeks and it’s down again. Don’t buy this app! Customer service takes weeks to reply or sometimes they never reply.
Useless
Stopped working a while ago now it doesn’t recognise me to log on tried pwd change on off etc. they just abandoned us!
Can’t log in to app
The app logged me out as of about a week ago and when I try to log back in I get an SSL error message. Customer service isn’t returning my emails. Very frustrating.
June 2025 - app is down
The app has been down for 5 days with no info pushed out to users. This is now a Phillips subscription, and what are we paying for?
App down for 4+ days
The app has been down and they are making no attempt to fix it. When Philips bought the headphones, they started forcing people to pay a subscription for the app, and now they aren’t even maintaining it. It’s ridiculous. I’ve been a Kokoon user for years, just recently having to buy a new pair, and I’m very disappointed in the way the Philips company took things.

Terrible
Company seems to have gone bust and app no longer works. Hoping that there will be no future subscription charges. Can use device without app but this was a very expensive product.
App not working - DO NOT BUY!
Many Kokoon owners are reporting they are unable to log into the app. This pretty much bricks the sleep headphones as you cannot utilise the functions we paid sillymoney for. They are now just ‘headphones’ and you can buy them for far, far less.
App No Longer Works for Many Paid Subscribers
Lack of customer support, no response from company, people seeking refunds. Is this another bankrupt Trump scam?!
Infuriating - app leaves much to be desired
While the headphones are a good product, the accompanying app has limited functionality and is often glitchy, seeming to choose of its own accord whether it would like to log you in tonight or not. Given the product is designed to be conducive to sleep, the constant battle of having to deal with nightly technical gremlins is utterly counterproductive. I will not be renewing my subscription next year.

Check your credit card bills
Did not sign up for paid subscription but they charged my credit card anyways. When I reached out about the charge I was told they’d emailed me to let me know they would be charging my card. They didn’t and I never consented - they repurposed the card they have for purchasing my Philips earphones a year ago.

Achtung, Geld ist weg
Nicht die Kopfhörer bei Kokoon bestellen! Bei Rückgabe der Kopfhörer erhält man sein Geld nicht zurück. Das Internet ist voll mit Geschichten von anderen Kunden, die auch noch immer auf ihr Geld warten. Einfach einmal bei Trustpilot nach kokoon suchen.
