A Disappointing Customer Experience with Korean Air
When I attempted to redeem the advertised lounge voucher, I received an error stating that no coupons were available. Instead of receiving a clear explanation right away, I spent days following up with customer service and waiting for responses from different departments.
Only later was I informed that the promotion had ended early because all allocated coupons had already been distributed and that no manual voucher or goodwill gesture would be provided.
I understand that promotions can be changed or ended based on their terms. However, what I find disappointing is the lack of transparency and the time wasted due to inconsistent communication. If the lounge vouchers had already been exhausted, customers should have been informed immediately so they could make informed decisions when choosing an airline or considering other available options.
As a long-time customer, I expected better communication and a more customer-focused resolution. I hope Korean Air improves the way it handles promotions and communicates changes to its customers.
Wonderful staff
Thanks to the quick assistance and professionalism of the airport emergency staff, Korean Air employees, and immigration officers, we were able to safely enter Korea and bring our daughter to Inha University Hospital for urgent medical care. Every person we met showed exceptional compassion, patience, and professionalism during this difficult situation.
We are especially grateful to Korean Air for kindly helping us change our flight to the following day so our daughter could receive proper treatment and rest before continuing our journey back to Vancouver.
Although this was an experience no family wishes to face while traveling abroad, the care and support we received from all of you turned a very difficult moment into one filled with warmth, reassurance, and humanity.
