Feed issues
Love the KTLA morning news but the feed is constantly cutting in and out! So I’m only getting about 1/3 of the stories or news. I end up exiting the app and leaving .
App freezes
App freezes when the live news icon appears on the top left side of screen. I Removed the app.
Ads. Only!
I get “video playback error” about 85% of the time. Ohhh but the long ads play PERFECTLY! I say they’re long ads because to watch a 30 sec news clip you have to sit through an ad just as long. Then the video errors out and you get to watch another ad.
Phone App is Terrible
I love KTLA morning news, so I keep hoping the glitches will get fixed, but every morning I am frustrated because the volume cuts in and out and clips end abruptly giving a video reload error message. I then have to go back to the main page, which means I have to watch ads all over again, missing content in the process. Please fix these glitches!

Your app stops playing and a black screen with the following message comes up: video playback error - reload - it happens all the time - please fix it 🙏
Audio cuts out
Worst app. Audio cuts out every few seconds and so many commercials. Then was desperate enough to watch the online version, that’s even worse. Can’t get any complete news story on either platform. I’m looking for a new station that is more reliable. That’s too bad because I really enjoy the morning anchors.

Best News Deserves a Better App
KTLA morning news is the best, but trying to access the live stream from the app on my phone is terrible. The app stops misreport to show a “reload” message, but it never resets. Instead I have to close and reopen the app. That means I have to watch the same Toyota ad over and over again. This happens every morning, and today I finally gave up and turned it off because it happened seven times. We don’t have those problems on Roku, but the phone app is very frustrating. Never could get it to work correctly today.

Watch ads only
The videos don’t play. Just the ads. You have to watch a 30 second ad for a less than 1 minute clip. You cannot skip it and most of the time I get “video playback error” for the video after the ad plays PERFECTLY fine.
Audio Issues
Lately the audio has been going in and out a lot. I tried redownloading the app but still has that issue .
Disappointed
I love KTLA however I always have issues with their app on the phone or tv app that it forcefully makes me watch fox LA

Select ads and numerous article typos
So one of the recent problems with this app is a reoccurring, sometimes several times in an article, ad for a kava root drug. You don’t even have to click on it…just a mere touch or swipe down around it will take you to their website (which is for a 21+ year old adult drug product restricted in sales in several Calif counties)…which is basically an opioid synthetic drug being advertised to app users (16+ year old can use the app). You will have several open internet browser pages when you are done reading the article. The second most recent problem with the app is that multiple articled will incorporate the same phrase interspersed throughout it. The phrase is a bunch of random letter and symbols like “b&s$ap”

Audio Cuts Out
I use the app to stream the morning news and every single day, the audio will just cut out for a few seconds repeatedly throughout the time I’m streaming. It return sometimes long enough to only hear two words and then cut out again. I’ve tried using other devices and it cuts out on them as well. This has been an ongoing issue for quite some time now.

Constant commercials
I’ve used KTLA live news for many years with no issues as of late the audio fades in and out . Now every few seconds there’s a commercial break note in the middle of a segment. I love KTLA and I don’t want to switch but it’s becoming very difficult to use and watch the news without constantly being interrupted

The audio has been in and out for the past week. I check if there is an update available for the app but there wasn’t.

Give them your email address and welcome to the sign in loophole you can’t find the end to. Love how the email makes it sound “One-click sign in”. Yeah right, good luck
Big Hassle to watch in app
I’ve had the app downloaded on my iPad for years and now in order to continue watching ktla news I have to create a new account every day go to my email and click on the link. First of all, why do I need a link to take me to the Internet to watch the news when I downloaded the app?
The link doesn’t work half of the time and it takes to the internet and not the app. Whatever you guys intended to do is not working and it’s a big hassle to even connect to the news now. I hate to look for another option, but this is a big hassle, the app is useless now. I don’t have time to sit there and try to fix it and create a new account every day just to get the link to watch. Hence downloading the app.

Horrible app
The ads play GREAT… the actual video you want to see? Never plays. It’s just a trick to watch the ads. It’s been like this for a while now. The only improvement is that now you can skip some of the ads after a few seconds. But what’s the point if your vid won’t play? I’m shocked that a well known news company can’t even get their own app to work.
