Interested to try, but won't blindly pay $70+ for something
This is a service I would absolutely consider paying premium for additional features, but it is absolutely impossible to try it without paying. What a terrible business model!
I signed up, linked my cards to the account, and then was told to sign up for premium. It's phrased as if it's an option - and "premium" implies that you can just have a free account and get basic features - but there is no way to say "no thanks" or close out of the window, so apparently it's mandatory. To make matters worse, there's not even a free trial of any kind.
I guess I won't be able to try this app without paying for it, which I certainly won't be doing. It's a shame because maybe it's a great app - but a lot of people will never know because of a bad app flow / business model.

Above and Beyond Customer Service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I honestly couldn’t be happier with how this was handled! I reached out because my Xfinity bill had gone up to $75, and I was hoping there was something that could be done. The representative went above and beyond to work with me and was able to match the new customer promotion of $50/month for 5 YEARS—for the exact same service I already have!
That’s a $25/month savings, or $1,500 over five years! 🙌
What really stood out to me was that they didn’t just give me a quick answer or tell me there was nothing they could do. They actually took the time to help, listened to my concerns, and found a solution that made me feel valued as a longtime customer.
This is exactly what great customer service should look like. I truly appreciate the effort and flexibility, and I’m very happy to continue being an Xfinity customer. Thank you for going the extra mile! ❤️

“Think Twice Before Sharing Your Financial Information”
Very disappointing experience. I signed up because I wanted to see and manage the benefits of my existing credit cards, and I connected my financial information expecting the app to actually provide that value.
Instead, after going through the process of connecting my account and sharing personal/financial information, I found that the useful benefits features are locked behind a Premium subscription, which is not cheap at all . There is no free trial to even see whether the paid service is worth it.
What concerns me most is the personal-information side of this. I never intended to hand over my financial information just to discover afterward that I couldn’t actually use the features I wanted without paying. Once you’ve shared information with a third party, you can’t simply take that moment back.
The whole experience left me feeling like I gave up more privacy than I received in value. I also found the process of managing/disconnecting the connected account confusing.
If you’re considering this app, understand exactly what information you’re sharing and which features are actually available before connecting your accounts. I personally would not do it again.

Out $62
Decided to try Kudos because of the positive ratings and the promise of maximizing benefits. However, it became immediately clear that the app wasn’t going to actually provide me anything new as far as benefit tracking. It is incapable of tracking 3rd party partnership benefits for Atmos which are quite significant. And they don’t have an actual trial experience. Decided to cancel & the only warning message about a potential refund was that you don’t receive it if you downgrade, but you actually need to email their support before you do anything. They count your regular point accruals as savings generated by the app anyway, so unlikely they’ll give it to you. Now I’m out $62 for a service I used all of one day.

Response from developer
Appreciate you laying this out in detail. On the Atmos benefits specifically: we do have the credits and benefits for that card configured in our system, so we'd like to understand exactly what wasn't showing up for you/what you aren't seeing on your end. If you're willing to email support@joinkudos.com with those details, we'll dig into it for you. On the refund note: our team can walk you through what applies to your specific plan, please reach out if you haven't already. Thanks for giving Kudos a shot, and we're truly sorry your experience hasn't been smoother.
Difficult to use
I was excited to try this app out after getting an ad on social media. I downloaded it and added my card which took multiple tries as it kept glitching and closing out. I had to add my one account about 6 times before it saved. Then the page to sign up for premium $80/yr wouldn’t close out. I had to close and reopen the app multiple times to just get to the main page. I attempted to see what the benefits for the one card are and everytime I pushed a prompt it went back to the premium sign up page. After over 30min of complete frustration I closed out my account and deleted the app. Not worth the time or money.
