please bring back the budgeting tool!
i am very disappointed with this “update.” LMCU replaced their most functional feature: the budgeting tool. whatever new “insights tool” they launched is nowhere near as functional and intuitive, and looks “vibe-coded” from one AI prompt. for example, i cannot get detailed expense breakdowns… just a name and a number (ex: shopping: $300). how can you cross-check this information when relevant expenses are not linked? am i supposed to check my hundreds of expenses one by one to see where they were placed?
also, what happened to the detailed subcategories? there is now just “shopping.” but what type of shopping? clothing? personal care? games? electronics? the subcategories have been annihilated throughout the app in favor of just a few categories (food transportation health, shopping etc). i miss when i could see breakdowns like gas, parking, maintenance, as well as coffee shops, restaurants, and fast food! unfortunately, it seems like the developers removed everything useful in the “update.” please don’t remove every feature in a fruitless quest for simplicity!

Update downgraded budgeting tool
I’ve been closely using the budget tool for six months and it had been extremely helpful, but the latest update removed the tool and implemented “wallet insights “ and a very basic budgeting tool. All my data is gone and I’m extremely disappointed with the new features compared to the old. I already switched to Every Dollar for budgeting, but it was a huge hassle to have to start from square one. Please bring the old tool back! I recommended LMCU to others just based on that feature!

New “wisdom” is just a time waster. Making me wade through your data points is annoying. I only want to see my accounts, I don’t need your AI to recap things and advise me. Go back to the clean appearance without all the wisdom junk. Or at least give customers the option to turn it OFF!
Update: Tracking Installed
Prior to this most recent update it did not appear as though LMCU was using third-party analytics or tracking. However, each time you load the app and login you are sharing your private data with “cloudflareinsights”
The app itself is “ok” it does an “ok” job at what it is supposed to do, however third party analytics and tracking tools do not belong in a banking app.

New feature
The new wallet wisdom insights feature is intrusive and unhelpful. Please include the ability to disable this unwanted feature.
Positive App Privacy Report
If you value privacy, at least at this time, it does not appear as though LMCU is sharing analytics with third parties from the app. The app itself, while not the best design, does what it is supposed to do and doesn’t try to be more.

Just my opinion
The app is fine but it is missing Zelle and push notifications. Add those and everything is perfect!

It doesn’t even open at all. I’m on an iPhone 16 pro max running iOS 26.2.1

The app is broken. They’re all kinds of errors, and it is impossible to login. This is very problematic when you’re dealing with a financial app. Users must be able to login at all times.

I can’t believe how bad this app has gotten. So frustrating and annoying. I might even need to switch banks to get checks deposited
Good app, missing features
The app is very functional, but I’d like to see: (1) MORE point progress/breakdown towards VIP status, and (2) using the app’s authenticator as an addition, NOT a replacement, to using one’s password for login.

It usually just says “biometric sign in is unavailable at this time.” If I manually input my username and password, it requires me to send a code to either my phone or email. Fine. I choose to send code to my phone. The app times out and says it cannot send a code to my phone at the moment. So I choose email. The email with the code never comes. Total, I’m able to get into my bank account MAYBE 50% of the time. Love banking with LMCU, but the app is a joke. It’s 2025 and most people are accessing their bank info through an app, so there is no excuse for the app to be this bad.

App is broken
App will not log into website. Gives error code http 400. I restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone again, but get the same error code. I can log into the website from the same phone so it’s not the phone. Very inconvenient as I have checks I need to deposit and can only do that thru the app.

Doesn't work
Can't login. I can login from the android app or web browser but not the iOS app.
Unreliable
I haven’t been able to access my account info in over a week now because the app keeps giving me error messages when I try to login and no one seems to even be working on it. I also have to reset my password every time I login on the website instead. Unacceptably incompetent service.

Lacking Balances after Transactions
I appreciate the overall functionality of the app, but one major issue makes managing my finances frustrating. After a transaction posts or while it’s pending, the app doesn’t clearly show whether the displayed balance reflects that transaction or not. It’s hard to tell what my actual available balance is in real time.
I’d love to see an improvement in balance reporting, showing a “running balance” after each transaction, including pending ones. That transparency helps with budgeting and avoids confusion. Hoping this can be addressed in a future update!
