Remote start

Would love if it had a schedule ahead remote start feature like my BMW did

App sucks

Why on earth would I need to put in my password to be directed to my email for a code submit the code and then put in my PIN code in order to access a freaking application for my car
If there was a severe issue where I needed safety, I’d be dead
Kind of like trying to drive my car without putting my seatbelt on or having the door open….
I’m not gonna get away from anything in the event of an emergency trying to use this app better hope your key fob battery never goes dead

App is Timing Out

App Request is timing out before completion

Aggravating

Terrible app for how much you have to pay for it. So glitchy.

What have you done?

Quote; ‘We have enriched your app experience with bug fixes and have implemented several stability improvements.’

No…no you haven’t. You have made it worse. Why oh why do developers make things worse by breaking things that previously worked?

Do you never test the app after updating it? Guess the answer is no…no you don’t.

What was a seamless login procedure by opening the app and using facial recognition to login (well most of the time anyway) has now become a longer, awkward & distracting process where I am prompted by a Sign in with Biometrics nag screen with a drawing of a fingerprint and a face along with a Use Password button before another nag screen opens asking me to sign in with my Passkey that I was forced to setup immediately after the update as the app wouldn’t run until I did!
Then I have no choice but to press Use Passkey before it performs facial recognition and signs me in anyway! 😡

In what parallel universe do developers change the original facial recognition that just worked into a complete mess with extra screens and think “Yeah that will enrich my app experience.” 🤔🙈

*UPDATE* 3rd July
So here we are over a month since you broke a perfectly good app and two updates since (the latest only 3 days ago) and you still haven’t fixed the bugs you introduced despite a slew of 1 and 2 star reviews highlighting the issues.

Just what exactly does your often-trotted out quote; ‘We have enriched your app experience with bug fixes and have implemented several stability improvements.” actually even mean?

And now when I really need remote monitoring of my car as I’m out of the country when the app requests the status of the car it reports ‘Unknown’ so I would have no idea if my car was broken into, moved or driven away.

Gee thanks Land Rover. Seems to me your app will end up with a similar reputation to your cars as far as security & reliability is concerned and you only have yourself to blame. 🙈

*UPDATE* 21st July
So here we are with the third update since your customers have taken the time to report the login/authentication bug and despite yet another update 2 weeks ago you still can’t be bothered to address this oft reported bug you introduced with v4. Do you even read the comments here? We users have been reporting this bug since the beginning of May…

*UPDATE* 12 August
I just updated my review as I was still having the same issue but this time I had to log back in before I was prompted for my Passkey prior to using FaceID. Initially I thought it was getting worse but after being forced to sign in and then choose Passkey before FaceID it now seems to be working as it was before!
Too early to be sure as I only updated a few hours ago but initial signs are good and it does seem quicker than before so thanks very much for that Devs! 👍

Terrible

This is the worst app I have ever used. Remote start only works about 50% of the time. Now I can’t even try to start it as it’s been in “sleep mode” for 8 days despite me driving it every day. Completely unreliable and useless.

Happy now

After the last update the app is logging in much faster and everything is working perfectly for me. I never had a problem with the app until the new security was implemented. Now it logs in as fast as it did before the changes. Thanks Land Rover for fixing it.

Trash

Such an useless trash.
1).it logs me out EVERY SINGLE TIME.
2).top image doesn’t match my car. 3).extremely slow and unresponsive.

Awful app-giving me a bad taste

I’m going to be honest… I loved the app before but now it has changed. I have to pay for it now that the grace period wore off which is ridiculous but I can get over that. Every time I go to log in WITH MY SECURITY CODE, The app logs me out and it’s a 6 step process to get logged back in. There is nothing fast/efficient/easy when using or logging in. I’m honestly considering a Lexus truck over my Defender because of the constant frustration when logging in.

Poor experience

App will present frequently not available due to driving when the vehicle is parked. Voice commands start randomly which is annoying.

Slow. Unreliable

It’s evident that the managers and developers responsible for this app don’t actually use it or care about their customers. The basic remote functions are either slow or just don’t work. The “Security” features are a joke, biometrics require a full passkey instead of just using the FaceID API directly. Why? This is basic stuff in 2026 that a premium brand should just get right. Go use the Tesla app for a day then report back.

Fix it!

It is a common complaint it puts you though triple procedure to start every time. Even when it is running it is very glitchy. used to work great. putting my dog at risk when it glitches in the heat. So frustrating and dangerous for my dog. I used to love Range Rover so much.

Update 3 weeks ago

Totally not working!!!! Keeps wanting me to sign in!!!!

Needs work

The app is slow as molasses. The vehicle is great but the app needs to be responsive. It’s disappointing for the year 2026 and world’s technological advances. Subpar for an amazing vehicle.

Constantly logs you out

I’m constantly logged out if I go out of the app to check my email or close my phone. Constantly makes you get code from email then enter pin. Very frustrating

Poor performance app

Their app reliability is like their vehicles 🫣

Getting Worse Over Time

I have been using this app for almost four years across two vehicles, and it was better when I first got it vs now. The UI updates have been nice, but the core reliability and speed of the app have gotten so much worse.

Regularly, I have commands to my vehicle failing where they didn’t before. Also, the time from tapping the apps icon to getting to the main page has gotten many times slower (I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s at least quadrupled).

This is beginning to make me feel like a fool for paying for this. I’ll waste minutes every morning trying to start my vehicle and regularly come to find it hasn’t turned over, or I’ll make it to the door of my vehicle before I’ve even managed to log in.

Agreed, too many passwords

Half your time spent using the app is just trying to get in. Three different verifications.. Nobody needs the app that bad.

Clocking out

Clock out app every time

Now Worthless

Every single time I need to use it even just one hour later, it now required several steps to get into it. 1) have to put in email and password, 2) sends a code I have to get from email (code sometimes take several minutes to show up on email), 3) copy/paste code and enter it on the app, 4) enter four digit pin. This is every single time. In the past, I only had to enter my pin and was in. I hope this gets fixed soon. Worthless right now.
