Poor search facility
Searching for matters is poor and nonsensical. I’ve tried many ways to find a few matters but it’s hard work unlikely to get the results you want. Searching client matters might show one but not all, sometimes none at all, searching by description the same, but works with non-archived on archived matters but not the current matter I’m looking for. What does non-archived even mean!!

LEAP Simply does not work like you’re told . I am over a year and a half deep with this product on a three-year contract . It was so bad that there was to be an extra license provided … but then the LEAP executive vanished . Months later I was told they are no longer with the company . So many glitches and so much trouble . My staff have double to triple the work. Incredible stress.
Recently, I discovered that trust money appeared to be missing on my iPhone app . But on the desktop, the trust funds were A-OK . I reached out to LEAP and I was told that you can’t look at trust funds on the app and depend on the Numbers . In the past, I could . Now I can’t . All new trust money going in for months does not record in the app. LEAP simply says that’s not supported in the app . But the app advertisement says it is and why wouldn’t it be . All glitches and new glitches. This App is full of bugs. Still - Horrible.

Zero tech support
Do not purchase LEAP. AWFUL.
Very User-Unfriendly
The company does not have a help line. When confronted with a technical question, they will send you an article and expect you to handle it yourself.
The worst software!!! Do not fall into their marketing trap
1) They have no genuine support
2) The software is consistently marred by glitches and maddening error messages.
3) They do a great job of promising the sky and then do not care if you crash to the ground.
Just extremely frustrating…
There must be better choices (which I am looking into right now)!

We were unable to keep truck of time, matters, documents and use of extensive library with the matter of click . LEAP software jumped ahead of time in future and took as away from the old generation legal management system.

Leap Works
Leap is a legal app and program to help with allot of office tasks and payments and allot more. The tech support is fantastic. They are Great to work with as everyone has learning curves to all new systems for office protocols but when you can have a Star Tech support team is absolutely Great… I say Go Leap!!!!!

LEAP APP FAILING GRADE
Leap launched in my office June 2023. It is now the last days of October. Despite my issue being ramped up …no technical resolution. All time entered in Leap automatically populate in outlook calendar to Greenwich meantime. I am in EST. My diary is a mess due to LEAP. My staff have double the work. Incredible stress. This is one minor glitch. This App is full of bugs. Horrible.

Leap mobile app extremely unreliable
When I agreed to go with Leap I was led to believe that the mobile app for the iPhone or the iPad was virtually seamless and you could do everything, this is absolutely untrue. I agree with some of the other reviews, the app is virtually useless and unreliable other than perhaps logging your time in a matter. Unreliability in downloading word documents, unreliability in saving word documents that you’ve worked on and then sent back into LEAP and having them NOT update to the newest version of your draft, the list goes on and on. I am happy with customer support they’ve attempted to help me each and every time but Leap really needs to address the issues with the mobile app. It is absolutely not what it is claim to be. if you are planning to purchase Leap primarily because of the mobility of the software on your smart phone or iPad do not do it, it is not reliable. Leap either needs to fix the mini flaws with this app or they should simply remove it from their software and they certainly shouldn’t use it as a sales pitch. Extremely disappointed with the Leap iOS app

Leap app is useless. Unable to do trust trial balance or reconciliation. No point having the app. Just a waste of time. Have travel with a heavy PC or laptop

My office started using Leap 2 years ago and it is one of the worst investments we’ve made. Support is terrible. The app on ipad is close to worthless (ex. - cannot download a Word document for editing).
We’re a small practice that does litigation in Texas. The matter templates and tables were clearly not designed by anyone who if familiar with litigation. The templates and tables used to populate data or autogenerate reminders, tasks and deadlines (Leap calls them “Critical Dates”) are not configurable so you are stuck with whatever arbitrary choices Leap makes.
After we purchased we realized that it was an underdeveloped product imported from Australia and apparently based on its legal system. In 2 years there has been very little improvement or effort to tailor it to its intended American customers. As far as a database, calendaring, deadline calculator, document assembly or case management in general, you’re better off with Excel and Mail Merge.

It’s fantastic but why not on MacBook.
It make my life much easier.
Tasks / critical dates
The app does not allow you to insert dates for tasks and critical dates and to choose one too. It means, you have to open your computer to insert such dates - impossible task when you are away from your office!
Fast access to files
Handy to have Leap on the iPhone and iPad. Easy to access files from anywhere. No need to turn on the computer!
