Hey, thanks for the feedback, and sorry about the frustrating experience. The placement test is intentionally a little conservative so it doesn’t skip essential vocabulary you may still want to learn. The questions come from different points in the French frequency list to estimate where you should start. In your case, though, there’s another issue. The experience level selected before the test currently limits how high the placement result can go. That limit is too restrictive for more advanced learners, which is why you were placed in B1. I’m raising it in the next update. I also agree that you should be able to experience the app at your actual level before deciding whether to subscribe.
