The app is good, it certainly looks like it can help a lot of people out. I am not one of those people. I downloaded the app for one reason: to see the ranks I have for my workouts. I workout in a way I like: minimally structured, loose requirements, etc, and it’s worked great for months. I have a solid routine, diet, and everything needed to make progress. Liftoff doesn’t quite account for that, you only get 3 free rank calculations (plus one after downloading the app), and it annoys me because I have over 20 that I regularly do. This wouldn’t be a big problem if it weren’t for the fact that the app also wants to workout WITH me, not just track progress. Instead of being able to punch in numbers after a workout, it forces me to have it actually be integrated into the workout. And again, this isn’t a bad thing, it just isn’t my kind of app. I can’t reasonably rate this app lower than 4 stars. What I can say is that if you don’t have a well structured routine, this app is great. If you do have a well structure routine, I’d suggest against getting it.
