Subscription

Don’t make someone setup their account and preferences if they’re just going to be trapped into getting a subscription to use the app more. Really bad

Best decision

The best decision I ever made was downloading this app. Working out is already fun, this makes it even better. You will push yourself harder just to rank up. Thank you liftoff.

Random fee?

It’s been doing a great job tracking my progress but a couple minutes ago I just got a random fee for 85 dollars. I already paid for the yearly subscription which was around 90 but that was only about 3 months ago.

Pretty cool

Great app

ladrao

aplicativo fala que vai descontar 30 e poucos mensal, aí chega lá é 400. a vontade de por na justiça é enorme, tirou o dinheiro que eu já não tinha

Needs more effort

The amount of exercises and ability to keep track is nice, but the progression and plans are barebones and the method of adding difficulty to the same exercise is just increasing by 1-2 reps.

Multiple plans for the strength category don’t actually exist and just redirect to another workout plan. This is lame as some of those are much more tailored to my goals but I can’t even do them.

It’s a decent app and I have 100+ day streak, but it really should have more effort put into it based on the money it asks for and that I’ve already paid.

Reps

Lift off is a great app however I have a major problem recently I have performed very high numbers of reps but with a fairly small weight due to accessibility to higher weights being limited but despite these very high number of reps my rank has not increased I seem to understand that this is due to the calculation method used by the app fails after so many reps so I know it may be a lot to ask but is there some way to fix this or atleast give a warning when the rep limit is reached as I worked very hard to be disappointed and I believe many more people will have this same problem and not know their true rank

Thanks in advance

Good

Good app subscription is pricey but honesty kinda worth it if you can afford and still has lots to offer without subscription and fun with friends

Just started.

I had to sign up 3 times. First time it put me as the 2nd best rank, 2nd time I was wood 3, now I’m in gold. So i feel like this was just a cortisol overload I didn’t need at all. Hope it doesn’t suck in the future.

Does too much

The app is good, it certainly looks like it can help a lot of people out. I am not one of those people. I downloaded the app for one reason: to see the ranks I have for my workouts. I workout in a way I like: minimally structured, loose requirements, etc, and it’s worked great for months. I have a solid routine, diet, and everything needed to make progress. Liftoff doesn’t quite account for that, you only get 3 free rank calculations (plus one after downloading the app), and it annoys me because I have over 20 that I regularly do. This wouldn’t be a big problem if it weren’t for the fact that the app also wants to workout WITH me, not just track progress. Instead of being able to punch in numbers after a workout, it forces me to have it actually be integrated into the workout. And again, this isn’t a bad thing, it just isn’t my kind of app. I can’t reasonably rate this app lower than 4 stars. What I can say is that if you don’t have a well structured routine, this app is great. If you do have a well structure routine, I’d suggest against getting it.

Good App

Very good app

Fun

If you’re lacking motivation to go to the gym or if you just want something to go along with the gym, it’s like a fun little mini game you can put in in between your sets and you get a visual representation of your progress feels way better than just a little ding that an app like heavy uses

Fun concept

Love the idea and makes gym progression feel very gratifying; only slight caveat is that the accuracy of the rankings should be taken with a grain of salt since different machines function in their own unique ways

10/10 App

Liftoff is hands down the best fitness tracking app i have ever used. The interface is clean and makes tracking heavy lifts, sets and reps completely seamless. It’s so motivating looking back at your progrsss and rising up the ranks. I highly recommend it
