What's New in Arrow

4.0.0

September 29, 2026

Thank you for your continued support for Arrow. We are working hard to help you reach your health and fitness goals. This update introduces Nutrition, a complete calorie and macro tracker built into Arrow so your training and your diet finally live in one loop. Set a goal (lose weight, build muscle, or maintain) and Arrow gives you daily calorie, protein, carb, and fat targets, then keeps them adjusted with Adaptive TDEE, an estimate of your real daily energy expenditure built from your weigh-ins and food log rather than a formula alone. Logging is built to take seconds. Smart Scan photographs your plate and returns the foods, calories, and macros, and asks about cooking oil when a meal was likely cooked in it, so hidden calories don't slip past your numbers. You can also describe a meal in plain words or by voice, scan a barcode, or look it up in our food database of over 2.3 million foods. Saved meals, custom foods, copy-a-previous-day, and optional meal reminders cover the meals you eat on repeat, and you can share meals to your friends' feed if you choose. Weigh-ins are plotted as Scale Weight and Trend Weight, with an estimated daily deficit or surplus and a four-week projection, so you can tell a water swing from true gain or loss before you change your plan. Arrow Coach now reads your meals alongside your workouts: a Heads Up before you log a scanned meal, a meal score after, and a weekly recap that covers nutrition as well as training. Arrow Score can now factor nutrition and consistency in with your strength training, which is optional and can be toggled to your preference, and we've made general improvements to the Arrow Score calculations so it responds more naturally to your training.

discovered in 2022 now I’m locking in

It’s a very good app

I’ve been using this app now for the last 2/3 years and it’s been simply lovely. It’s got a vast variety of exercises and the only improvement I could ask for is really in the free planthe option to make my own exercises and then what muscle they target. Other than that it’s a great app and I recommend it to anyone.

Response from developer

Thank you so much, 2-3 years with us means the world and we are so glad Arrow has been a part of your journey! We really appreciate the feedback on custom exercises. As for the free plan, Arrow moved to a subscription model because it is what allows our small team to keep building, improving, and supporting the app full time. We genuinely wish we could offer everything for free but it just would not be sustainable long term. We hope you understand and we truly appreciate your continued support and recommendation!
