Refreshing & creative!

Lighthouse is different than your typical social media apps! It’s refreshing to be on an app that’s not an endless feed, not cluttered by news and nonsense, but just filled with likeminded people who want to connect around the things I care about. Love it! Give it a shot.

Useless app with annoying marketing

Constantly uses bots to advertise the app across different Chicago forums, misguiding people to download. I tried it based on one of the comments and it was completely inaccurate and useless.

Cool app

This app is a cool concept for meeting people with similar interests. For example I was looking for an eye doctor recently, and saw there was one in my area that’s also a pilot, so I went to him and I’m glad I did. Give this app a try, you won’t regret it!

Best local social network app available!!

I’ve been trying a bunch of different apps lately looking for a good local social network, and this is honestly the first one that’s actually clicked for me. It feels simple and intentional, not just another place to scroll forever.

What I like most is how it encourages real connections. Once you connect with someone you can see more of their profile, which makes the whole thing feel more personal instead of random. It actually feels like you’re meeting people in your area who share similar interests, which is what a local social network should be doing.

The app itself is clean and easy to use, and setup took only a minute.

It’s a really refreshing take on a local social network. Definitely one of the better new apps I’ve come across in a while!!

Loving this digital “third space”

Loving how simple it is and easy to connect with people. I have recently become a business owner and met up with some rad people at a local coffee shops to shoot some ideas around. In this day and age of crazy AI and tech development, it’s so important to get out and actually meet people. This is the perfect app to spark those connections!

Different communities to connect with

This app has been very helpful in finding different communities in my area. I have already connected and added more people to my network after using this app and find people with the same interest as me I have not been bored at all!

Great way to build your community!

I’m new to Chicago and have found Lighthouse incredibly helpful in building out my community here! It only took me 2 min to get my account all set up, and the app has such an intuitive layout, which made this such an easy platform to start using. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite apps!

New app, good concept but would be good to see more active users on the app. Would be good to create sub-groups. Has potential with updates and more users

The app is easy to use. The layout is phenomenal. Best way to connect with others that are like minded individuals, the city of Chicago is the best city so why not take full advantage and meet other people. Highly recommend this app for people that are new to the city and have been living here for a while

I love the idea of this app & I hope it truly takes off. Chicago is such a fun & robust city, but sometimes it can be scary exploring alone, so I love the idea of finding other likeminded people to do stuff with!

Great app! Super clean interface, great features, but most of all, a way to build meaningful relationships with those around you.. the greatest need in the world! Community is everything and this app gets it!

Just what we needed

I’m stoked this is an app you can be yourself on and not try to pretend like you’re some famous person just to get likes.
Using the app I already met a few cool people and I’m excited to link up with more instead of scrolling on social all day. I am Pumped for this - the app is super clean and easy to use. Can’t wait for summer time on this app too
