Needs the capability to swipe photos
Overall a nice app to monitor what my child is up to! It’s really annoying to not able to swipe through photos though!!

Not sure I understand what’s happening with this app! It works one day and then looks all messed up the next (yes I do updates regularly). Also the posted photos of the kids are so horrible to view unless you download them to your phone if you need to enlarge and find your kid. Strange that in 2026 an app behaved like this

Best experience
Amazing app for any organized structured daycare.
New update feels sloppy
The initial tutorial got stuck had to force kill the app, then why do i have to click two times on every video to watch it. the favorite icon disappears every time you click it. if you refeesh now (pull from top) then app takes you to somewhere down in the oage and doesn't remain at the latest update. the close icon is so hard to find. I am curious if guys cut corners to make one of those hybrid apps to save on development cost

Hate the UX
Our daycare moved from Famly to this app and I hate it. Photos are all low res and they try to sell you high res ones. Seriously? The feed is not user friendly, you have photos mixed in with updates on diaper changes, no real time nap info. You can’t send an attachment via private message unless you start a new message. Wish we used the Famly app still.

Very Clunky & Non- Intuitive
As a parent the most important are the photos. That part of the app is not nice to use. These are the following issues:
1. The photos take a long time to load
2. The photo gallery doesn’t allow you to swipe through photos
3. In order to download photos - you have to press two different buttons. Previously there was a simple button for downloading. Seems the latest update made it more cumbersome to download on iOS 26.
4. The downloading of photos and videos takes a very long time.
5. Videos have similar issues of the user interface and requires several presses to play or save a video.
(Please note that I also have the month subscription so I can download the HD photos.)
This app would benefit from a user interface overhaul to make it seamless to use. And the fact that there is a gallery and you can’t simply swipe through is kind of embarrassing and unforgivable.
Looking forward to seeing these issues solved.

New Update doesn’t give real time updates
We are receiving our child’s entire day’s updates only after he has logged out for the day. Keeps parents guessing, we just don’t know what is happening until the day ends. Absolutely terrible decision to change the earlier approach of real time updates.
No scroll feature for uploaded pics
Once the daycare uploads pics for a day each pic needs to be opened up and closed separately to view it in full screen on iPhone which is so annoying. Also the Feed doesn’t auto refresh unless the page is pulled down. These are very basic UX features to include in an app.

Glitchy
Customer service is lovely but all of my parents are having major issues with this app. Additionally, we were grossly misinformed about the functionality of the app. For childcare providers, who don’t have a competent sales person, parents are not able to sign their children in and out.

Creating full access app for admins.
Messaging is a little challenging for Admin. Wish Admin had a full access app instead of having to open web browser. It is also difficult to know what messages have been opened and responded too
Upgrade isn’t worth it
Overall the app is pretty good. My issue is the upgrade to the app - for $3 for higher quality photos and videos- is not worth it. I just upgraded so I could download a higher quality video of my son’s birthday party. I downloaded the video before and after the upgrade and there is literally no difference between the videos- seems like a scam.

im so happy the preschool offers this. it makes me so pleased to see my grandson in such a positive situation during the day. my appreciation for the school and the staff is for sure a result of my ability to observe how they consistently support the kids, and this daily visual log is at the core

Terrible app. Doesn’t work most of the time and always refreshes when I am not done.

We have been using Lillio for our Catholic private preschool for over a year now. It has been AMAZING from the parent check in to daily reports. We have 94 children enrolled. And would tell everyone to purchase it your money will not be wasted.
