Fraud - does not work
Zero star. The pairing simply does not work, I have strong WiFi connection and have it set at the 2.4g as it requires and after going through the steps on the app to switch to the WiFi network, it kept popping up the same message saying to choose a network that is not GTO####### network (basically saying don't connect to its initial setup connection). Then it stalls there, and if you go "back" it makes you go over the whole process from the beginning. This is terrible and they should not claim the tech works. False advertisement!

Horrible all around
This company has horrible products and customer service. We installed our opener a few months ago and we have Toyotas. We can not program our vehicles to operate the device. So, I called customer service and we received a 3rd party company. This company did not offer useable answers. Now about the app, again horrible. We close the door, using external remotes and after 5 mins I will receive an alert detecting that I have moved away from the premises, would you like to close the door. Well, it was already closed. Again, overall horrible. I am ready to replace it even though it is brand new.

This app is buggy, horribly designed, and doesn’t seem to want to work with iOS.
Not sure why this is promoted as being “smart compatible” when the app doesn’t even show up in any of the smart home systems.

Started opening my garage door on its own.
Does not update network settings
Highly upset about this horrible app. Got a new router and followed instructions to update Wi-Fi network and it locks up and does nothing. Sent a feed back email and get a response saying talk to your installer. Costume support is horrible and I now see why this app is rated so low. Wish I can find another app that actually works. Would give zero stars if I could.

Notification’s does not work
Don’t waste your time or your money with this app! The notifications of when the door is opened or closed stopped about a year and a half. I’ve called their tech office multiple times about when this glitch would be remedied. The person that answers the phone over there is extremely rude and annoyed that anyone would be so rude to even call and inquire about when a tech issue would be fixed. These people do not care that you bought this product and they evidently not planning to take care the time to fix the problems related to it. My advice to anyone that needs a product like this is to buy a garage door opener that is compatible with a My Q app. It works all the time and it never fails!!

Shoulda Bought Another Liftmaster
The garage opener itself works just fine but for the life of me I can’t make this app work. Been trying for 3 THREE YEARS!! My Liftmaster app at my previous home worked fantastic. Using an iphone 13+ and a DECO Mesh M5 router with a station right on the other side of my garage door. Super strong signal from my home internet all the way to my sidewalk. I paid good money for this opener system but not getting full value. Would never recommend it.

What a waste of time. I followed the instructions explicitly and only resulted in being unable to pair with my network. And please don’t say “it must be your network” as I have no other device that has difficulty doing just that. You should keep trying though to fix your app/software, but in the meantime, I will find a better app.

No notifications?
I’ve had no notifications for about 5 months now, and it seems like they don’t have a plan to update this app, and fix this bug. I’ve seen multiple reviews of people complaining about this same thing, but the developers seem to only reply to the reviews that reference pairing, and address issues. Are you guys planning on fixing this bug, or not? What’s the deal, and why no communication with users having this same issue? This is an easy patch.

App notifications have been down for 4-5 months now
Please fix asap. It should not take 6 months to fix such a critical bug. Support is extremely slow.

I have been trying to pair the device for almost a day now. The most painful buttons on the wall unit, does not pair ever.

Notifications Still Don’t Work after several years
When is the Notification feature going to work again? It worked when first downloaded a couple of years ago then with all the upgrades it stopped working. All phone notifications are ON. When will there be an upgrade when it actually works?
App is crap
This app is garbage. It doesn’t stay logged in and will often say that my password is wrong but it’s the same one that is saved and worked the time before. It also will say that the garage opener is offline but it isn’t, it is an app issue. We have had the garage door opener and app for a few years now and I keep waiting for an update to the app that will correct these issues but the company seemingly isn’t concerned once they get your money for the opener. It’s a shame and I wish I had done my research before and chosen an opener that has a better app available.

Used to be good.
This app used to be good. I was able to get notifications when door was opened/closed. Now there are no notifications and it’s super glitchy. It would work sometimes and sometimes it won’t. The worse thing is if it doesn’t work then it will randomly open my garage at some point later in the day. It’s ridiculous to the point I just had to uninstall the app.

Has potential
My only issue with this app is around the Geotrigger settings - every time I walk away from my home (and I don’t even use the garage door) the app alerts me that I’ve left the garage door open
Unbelievably horrible
Worst app ever. The doors would not respond to the app, whether closing or opening. It would go offline randomly. The most common problem, if it wouldn’t respond when you needed it to, there was no telling when or if the command would go through. This resulted in me receiving notifications, when I’m far from home that my garage door was opened by the app. Or worse in the middle of the night when I’m asleep. My door would be open for hours!!! Never again.

Why bother
This app doesn’t work with IFTTT or google or Alexa like advertised. I spent multiple hours talking to all of them while they each blamed each other. Fact is I’m certain it’s on them, and the app sometimes gives notifications and sometimes doesn’t, and this morning it kept opening my door from the app, and I sent a password reset and now it won’t open at all. I’m selling all of my openers and switching to lift master- this is the worst garage door / app I could have imagined. Is it really that hard?

Useless
Set up was a pain. Can’t log into the app when we’re out. Barely even works when we’re inside the house, next to the garage.
Still disappointed
While notifications are back it is still disappointing. My place does does not show updated activity day/time for the garage door or light. Additionally, the device details for recent activity does not show the updated activity either. Contraindicates notifications. Wouldn’t know which was correct if not home. Still very disappointed. I should have went with another garage door opener. Do not get a product which requires the use of this app.
