Buggy and awful
Really buggy new commenting UX. when you edit a comment the app crashes.
Videos are destroying LinkedIn
This is not a social media website. It is a professional network. The video feature introduces just poor quality content to LinkedIn. Please think again what the long term strategy is as the world really does not need another short video platform.
New release - TRASH
This is the 10th time since the last update that I had to delete and download the app. After asking around in social, it sounds like it's the new dance. After you post a picture or video, it gets stuck and you have no choice but to delete and download the app to continue using it
Great App, 1 minor complaint
This is a great app to connect with others in the professional world. The 1 complaint I have is that while you can add images to most of the sections on your profile, there is no option to add photos under the “organizations” section. I would like to see this added in a future update because I believe it would keep the photos on my profile more organized and relevant to the section they are in.

Decent, but buggy and could be more robust
Some things I’ve noticed over the years I’ve used this app:
Recently, I see that job alerts aren’t filtering as they used to. When getting a job alert with set filters, if I select “verified jobs” only or sort from “most recent”, even the ones that are verified jobs will fall off. Even sorting it will cause jobs to fall off. It didn’t used to have this issue.
Also, when you click on a “apply” and it takes you to the company website, the app no longer asks you to “did you apply to this job, yes or no”. Now, I have to sign into the website to see this option and select “yes” to track the jobs I applied to.
A feature request would be the ability to filter by company size. I’ve asked this for a while, but I really hope this is a thing soon. Being able to create a job alert that filters by certain company-sizes, more job posting date options, and “verified jobs” only would be ideal. Currently, job alerts do not save filters that include “verified jobs” only.
Furthermore, selecting that you don’t want to see as much posts from this author, topic, political content, etc. in your LinkedIn newsfeed doesn’t ever seem to work. If you close the app and go back, similar posts or even the same one are right there again. It doesn’t seem to teach the algorithm anything. The only option is to unfollow someone, but I would hope that you can select those other options to not see as much of those types of posts, etc. without having to straight up do that all the time. It should also automatically unfollow people you disconnected with after you re-follow them manually.
I also am noticing issues with notifications. You should be able to control job alert notifications better. I don’t need to get random notifications about a random company hiring, especially if I shut off job recommendation notifications. The job alert notifications and these random job recommendations or company recommendations are directly connected and they shouldn’t be. You should be able to choose/edit a time for when the job alert notifies you. You also used to be able to control notifications you get when you interact with a post. Now, if you interact with a post, you get notifications for everything. You should only get notifications if you follow the post and want to be notified on everything. Other than that, you should just get notifications for activities on your comments only. It used to be like this, but it’s changed.
Update: I don’t know why you changed how the job filtering is. It’s horrible. Having filters put in with the keywords still picks up random jobs that you would’ve filtered out before. This AI job search sucks.
