Trying to make connections better

For love and peace ❤️

Horrible

The worst security check process I’ve ever seen on an app literal apes could’ve coded something better. Scan my id and face with clear just to fail a pin the donkey captcha about bicycles absolute imbecile app. Genuinely never worth the download if you don’t want to be taint swabbed by tsa level security just to think of getting a job.

Expression of the industry

So glad I have a platform to show my accomplishments and Kraft to link will professional s on the same page

Unusable

I was finally able to log in on desktop, but LinkedIn is still unusable. The mobile app’s CAPTCHA never works, so I can’t log in on mobile at all. On desktop, clicking any job listing loads the very top job instead of the one I selected. Between the broken CAPTCHA and the broken job selection, the platform is basically unusable for job searching.

Extra filtering needed

The ability to search for potential new connections is very limiting. Please add another filter to enable the app to order potential connections by the number of mutual contacts. I was going through a long list earlier and waded through many with only a 1 or 2 mutual connections, before finally finding several people with hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of mutual connections. Why isn’t this already filtered to show people with the most mutual connections as a minimum? Looking forward to some changes to make the app even better.

Terrible company that straight up ignores you

My account has been restricted for three weeks, and I still have not received meaningful help. I submitted my government-issued ID more than a week ago, replied to the support email, and created additional support requests, but I have received no confirmation or update.

I do not know whether my account was compromised, but I did not knowingly violate LinkedIn’s policies. I am currently interviewing for jobs, and the restriction prevents employers from finding my profile and stops me from accessing or tracking applications. Account restrictions need a clearer appeal process and much faster support.

Job search

Whose idea was it to ruin the job search. It’s useless now. Only giving more than 1 star cause the old version that actually worked helped me find jobs.

app full of spam useless content and it crashes all the time

A lot of unfixed flaws, poor client service, frozen response when clicking a button, broken functionalities which do not respond, metrics with error on tracking reports, not for true professionals

Trash. Garbage. Lower than dirt

Give me the classic job search back

Job Search Got Worse

With their forced push of AI search, you can no longer accurately search roles by salary, which is extremely key. It bothers me they disregarded this being so important to their users and no longer allow you to switch back to classic search. Using LI as a social media tool beyond job search is also now extremely unenjoyable due to all the AI slop and bot content.

Broken notifications

I missed out on a message from a recruiter at my dream job, but for some reason, this app feels the need to tell me every time a manager from five years ago, reacts to a post.

Completely broken product, it frustrates me to no end, how much my ability to generate an income relies on this absolutely garbage app.

Why did you get rid of the feed sort types??

Until yesterday I could switch between most recent and most recommended posts for my feed. That sort order has since been removed and now the feed is only showing the algorithmically sorted content. This is tone deaf, people don’t want more algorithmic posts in their lives, they want less.

Diminishing returns

Linkedin was invaluable to the job search in 2016. Now, in 2026, this is pretty unrecognizable. AI features are a mess, human Support is impossible to reach. There are no formatting tools for profile editing so importing information is laborious and requires a lot of manual adjustment. The timeline feed is irrelevant. I don’t need Facebook replicated on this app. LinkedIn also does not comply with state laws regarding job salary transparency. Salaries for jobs in states with this posting requirement are often not included and it appears that LinkedIn isn’t doing its due diligence to ensure compliance. Profile views by prospective employers are controlled by 2 pay to play devices- forced engagement within the social media feeds, and paying for Premium. Premium is also a mess. What it seems to reliably do is block the IDs of employers who are monitoring employee profiles. I have not gained any better job matches or functional profile edits by having Premium.

Unusable now and has never been helpful

Cannot even log in to close account without verifying ID because the awful captcha prompt keeps failing even though i checked the images perfectly and followed the instructions. I will never used this time wasting app again

Job search function sucks now

LinkedIn feels more like social media than an actual job search tool. Where did the location filter go? Where are the remote job posts I used to be able to easily see?

Work

I applied to many jobs but couldn’t find a job that I need that doesn’t deal about sales I’m not good with sales

Horrible verification process

I have been trying to get access to my account and the third party they use to verify you identity is horrible I have tried countless of time to try and get access to my account and it won’t let me past taking photos of my face then it just loads and loads forever 5 then 10 then 15 and 20 minutes go by and nothing it won’t let you go to the next step to take a photo of your ID and it also does not tell you why your account access has been restricted! This is set up so poorly and is honestly very disappointing for a platform to have something like this be set up and handled so poorly so I will gladly take my business elsewhere!
