Secondly LinkedIn is suddenly making basic functions like searches inaccessible to consumers unless we pay them $100 a month. At this point it’s a basic public good for access to employment they have a monopoly over. Very messed up.
There is a sync issue between my account permissions and the document post API on the mobile app. I can see analytics for text and image posts perfectly, but the private creator analytics bar is completely missing on my recent document post, even though it has been live for over an hour.
LinkedIn’s refusal to support free tiers means there’s no way to report bugs when users encounter poor implementations of the platform.

Death of LinkedIn
It's now completely unbearable. Every time I open it, there's a barrage of vapid AI nonsense in my news feed from unknown AI influencers. They also keep trying to push their version of TikToks in your face as if anyone wants that. It's really just trying to transform this platform into everything else out there when many LinkedIn users actually ran away from it in the first place.
Now the kicker is that I got logged out of my account on the app and LinkedIn is asking me to confirm it's me by sharing a code that they sent me... on the app... makes absolutely no sense and I can't log back it... but having recently changed jobs, it also made me realize that I really didn't need to endure the aforementioned annoyances in my daily life and that it wasn't worth the hassle of speaking with someone to fix the issue. So I deleted the app. Hopefully I won't need it for a very long time.
